APSSA, Amaravathi-State Awards to the Female Teachers for the year 2018 for birth day Celebration of Smt.Savithribai Phule Jayanthi on 3rd January 2019 Proposals called from the District Selection Committee Instructions.
The Government have introduced state Awards for women Teachers and decided to honour the best female teachers who have rendered for their services on the eve of Smt.Savithribai Phule, Jayanthi celebrations on 3rd January. Every year state awards are being given by Government of AP to the Best Teachers selected for the purpose on the occation of Teachers day.
As part of this, it is proposed to conduct of Celebration of Smt Savithribai Phule jayanthi on 3rd January “as Women Teachers Day” of every year in the state of AP as she was 1st Women Teacher in India and to introduce state Level Women Teachers Awards.
Therefore, it is proposed to be given awards in 2 categories to female teachers.
- Regular/Contract female teachers from Govt/Local boday/Municipal/Welfare Societies aided schools.
- Special Officers and Contract Resident Teachers from KGBV schools, PETs/Computer & Vocational Instructors and IERTs.
The following critria are proposals for approval:
- Conditions of eligibility of teachers for considering for the state awards.
(a) Teachers with a least 10 years of teaching experience and who are actully working as Teachers?Headmistress in Govt/ZP/MP/Municipal/Welfare Societies and Aided Institutions only shall be considered.
(b) Teachers from the above institutions of PHC are also eligible.
2) Main consideration for selection of teachers.
(a) Special work done for raising the standard of Education.
(b) Teaching Methodology being followed by the teacher.
(c) Inculating Interest in extracurricular activities among the students.
(d) Educational innovative writing useful to the students.
(i) strengthening of national intigration like NCC/SCOUTS & GUIDES/NSS/OTHER ACTIVITIES.
(e) Community mobilizations/social work
(f) Gender sesitization & Girls Education
(g) Women Empowernment.
(h) special efforts of teacher to improve enrollment and retention.
