All the RJDSEs and the Principals of A.P. Model Schools in the State are informed that a Notification was issued vide reference 1st read above inviting applications from the eligible candidates including those candidates who worked as guest faculties in A.P. Model Schools for engaging to the posts of Post
Graduate Teachers and Trained Graduate Teachers on contractual basis in A.P. Model Schools in 18 districts consequent on issuance of Government Memo vide reference 2nd read above. The following Guidelines are issued for completion the process of engaging Post Graduate Teachers and Trained Graduate Teachers on contract basis The Selection Committee shall be constituted at Zonal level with the following members:
For overall Monitoring of above process (entire process) observers are to be appointed on behalf of the Commissioner of School Education not below the rank of Joint Director in School Education Department in each Zone.
1. The Zonal and subject wise posts of PGTs and TGTs which are permitted to Mflll up along with roster points earmarked to each post are annexed at Annexure-I
2. The Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned shall verify the certificates of the eligible candidates with reference to the application submitted through ONLINE and confrm the same in the window provided at RJDSE login for generating general merit list as per the schedule given under.
3. The Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned shall call for the objections from the candidates on the merit list provided as per the schedule given under.
4. The Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned shall redress the objections if any in online and submit compliance in the login provided for generation of final selection list.
5. After having verification of certificates, demo will be conducted for eligible candidates @1:2 for testing “Communication skills”.
6. Based on the above, final merit will be released.
7. Provision will be made to the eligible candidate for opting the places / web options notified under the notification.
8. Based on the web options exercised by the candidates the Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned shall issue the orders to the selected candidates as per the prescribed schedule in the prescribed format appended at Annexure-II.
9. The Principal of the concerned A.P. Model School and the allotted engaged candidate should enter into an agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper Rs.100/- in the prescribed format appended at Annexure-III
The Regional Joint Directors of School Education concerned are requested to send the final engaged list of contractual appointments along with status report of their joining to this office within one week.

RULE OF RESERVATION: The Rule of Reservations laid down under Rule 22 of A.P State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 shall be followed.
ELIGIBILITY:
AGE:
The maximum age limit is 44 and should not be less than 18 years as on the date of Issuance of notifcation. However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years.
Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit will be taken into consideration.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Post Graduate Teachers:
Academic Qualifcations: Must possess two –year integrated Post Graduate Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects as specifed as unr:
PGT(English)- M.A., in English
PGT(Civics)-M.A., in Political Science/ Public Administration / Politics.
PGT(Commerce)- M.Com., in Commerce with Accountancy/Cost Accounting/ Financial Accountancy as a main subject/Master of Financial Analysis provided having B.Com in Graduation level.
Note:Holders of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible for the post of PGT-Commerce.
PGT(Economics)- M.A., in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Rural Development/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics.
PGT(Maths)-M.A.,/ M.Sc., in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ M.Sc., with Pure Mathematics/ M.Sc.Maths & Computer Science/ A.O. Maths
And
Should have studied the subject mathematics at their graduation level.
PGT(Physics) – M.Sc., in Physics/Electronics/ Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics/ M.Sc (Tech) Engineering Physics with any specialization /M.Sc., (Tech) Instrumentation/Space Physics/M.Sc. Technical Engineering Physics/ M.Sc. (Tech) Engineering Physics/ M.Sc.(Tech) Applied Electronics/M.Sc. (Tech) Electronics/ M.Sc. Engineering Physics and instrumentation/Meterology & Oceanography/ M.Sc (Tech) Co-Physics/ M.Sc (Astro Physics)/Any Physics based M.Sc Course of any UGC recognized University.
And
Should have studied the subject Mathematics at their Graduation level.
PGT (Chemistry) – M.Sc., Chemistry with specialization in inorganic/orgranic/Physical Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry/ Fertilizers and Agro Chemicals/Phyto Chemistry & Forest Products/ Chemistry of Foods and Drugs/ Synthetic Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ M.Sc., Chemistry (Associateship Exam in Chemistry) M.Sc.,Chemistry with specialization in Petro chemicals/Natural Products/Polymer Chemistry/ Drugs and Pharmaceuticals/ Forest Products Chemistry.
And
Should have studied the subject Chemistry at their Graduation Level.
PGT(Botany)- M.Sc., in Botany /Life Sciences/ Bio-Sciences/Genetics/Micro Biology/ Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology/ Biological Sciences/ Plant Sciences/ Environmental Biology/ Modern Biology/ Experimental Biology/ Marine Biology.

Academic and Professional Qualifcations: Must possess four

UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) in
aggregate including electives and Languages in the combination of subjects

recognized University / on case of TGT-Telugu and Hindi, Pandit Training from a
recognized institution as specifed under:
TGT(Telugu): A Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main
subject (or) one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor’s Degree in
Oriental Language in Telugu (B.O.L) or its equivalent/ a post Graduate Degree in
Telugu.
TGT (Hindi): A Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the full
elective subject / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi
(B.O.L) / Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha / Vidwan of Hindi
Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad/ any other equivalent recognized qualifcation in Hindi

REMUNERATION TO BE PAID :-
The Minimum of Time Scale of Pay fxed by Government from time to time shall be paid, without paying any allowances.

For the purpose of deciding ranks to the candidates with equal marks, the following procedure shall be followed in that order:
Date of Birth: The elder candidate will be given higher rank over a younger candidate;
If the Date of Birth is also same, but the candidates belong to different genders, a female candidate will be given a higher rank over a male candidate;
If two or more candidates have same date of birth, and no female candidate is one of them, or more than one female candidate are available, then candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be given a higher rank:

PREPARATION OF SELECTION LISTS:
Based on the marks obtained at Sl.No 1, 2 &3 under tables
(A) & (B) of 8, the Seniority list will be prepared and the same will be displayed
in the Ofcial Web Site.
After display of Merit list, if received any Grievances will
be rectifed /sorted out, by
the concerned RJDSE with
co-ordination of the IT Section, O/o CSE, A.P, Amaravati.
Certifcates verifcation
of the selected
candidates by the Selection Committee.
After having verifcation
of certifcates, demo/interview will be conducted
for eligible candidates @1:2 for testing “Communication skills”.
