The Andhra Pradesh Department of Government Examinations has refuted reports circulating in AP that the Class 10 examination results will be released tomorrow (April 25). The department stated that it had come to their notice that false information was being circulated in certain WhatsApp groups. Clarifying that this information is completely untrue, the Director of the AP Department of Government Examinations issued a statement. He noted that they have not yet made any official announcement regarding the release date of the Class 10 public examination results. He further stated that the date for the release of the results would be officially announced at an appropriate time.
DEOs and ACGEs were instructed to immediately inform the students, parents, and teachers within their respective jurisdictions about this matter. They were directed to advise them not to believe such false propaganda. Furthermore, DEOs were asked to monitor WhatsApp groups within their districts and issue immediate instructions to the respective group administrators to prevent the dissemination of such misinformation. They were ordered to take appropriate measures to ensure that false information is not circulated. A warning was issued stating that appropriate legal action would be taken against individuals engaging in malicious propaganda.
