In the 2^nd reference cited above, the Government, after careful examination of the improvement provisions available in other State Boards, after discussions with stakeholders and considering the
academic interests of students has decided to extend the improvement facility for all Second year pass and failed candidates in IPE March 2026 on par with I Year, with a provision of subject-wise best marks with single attempt.

Therefore, in continuation of the circular 1^st reference cited, regarding IPASE May 2026, the following additional and modified instructions for implementation in IPASE May 2026 are issued.

📘 I. First Year Improvement

The first year passed and failed candidates in March IPE 2026 can appear for Improvement in first year passed papers in IPASE May 2026. Best marks in individual papers will be considered.

📗 II. Second Year Improvement

The second year passed and failed candidates in March IPE 2026 can now appear for Improvement in second year passed papers in IPASE May 2026. Best marks in individual papers will be considered. There will be NO improvement for all Practical Exams.

📕 Failed Candidates appearing for Failed Papers

The First and Second year failed candidates can appear in failed subjects till they pass without limit on attempts.

💰 Fee Structure

📌 Improvement fee (per passed paper): Rs.160/- (in addition to exam fee)

📌 Examination Fee:
• Rs.600/- (1st year or 2nd year)
• Rs.1200/- (1st and 2nd years together)

⚙️ Other Conditions

✔ Candidates shall apply with the same Registration Number of IPE March 2026.

📅 The schedule for fee payment and application submission (as already circulated in reference cited) is from 20-04-2026 (Monday) to 27-04-2026 (Monday).
