ORDER:
The Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) is one of the most significant initiatives of the School Education Department for fostering an effective partnership between schools, parents, teachers and the community.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has been pioneering the concept of conducting Mega Parent-Teacher Meetings simultaneously across the State. The successful conduct of Mega PTM 2.0 earned Andhra Pradesh the Guinness World Record for the Largest Attendance at a Parent-Teacher Meeting (Multiple Venues).
Mega PTM 3.0 was conducted on 05.12.2025 in all Government and Government Aided Schools across the State. Building upon its success, Government has decided to conduct Mega PTM 3.1 in all Government Schools across Andhra Pradesh on 24.07.2026.
MPTM helps parents understand their children’s academic and behavioral levels, as well as their awareness of societal issues. Additionally, it serves as a platform for teachers to seek cooperation from parents for the benefit of students and for parents to learn what kind of support is needed from teachers.
In view of the above, the Minute-to-Minute programme schedule and Guidelines are issued and enclosed here with these proceedings to RJDSES, DEOS and APCs. Hence, they are directed to disseminate the same to all the DyEOS, MEOS, Principals and HMs to plan for necessary action.
Accordingly, the operational guidelines have been issued for the Academic Year 2026-27. All Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, Additional Project Coordinators, Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational Officers, Principals and Headmasters shall make elaborate arrangements to ensure successful conduct of Mega PTM 3.1.
