✅ Permission granted for 128 teaching posts as Guest Faculty (PGT/TGT) on temporary basis
To ensure smooth and effective academic instruction in AP Model Schools across the state, the Principals of A.P. Model Schools are hereby permitted to engage qualified guest teachers (PGTs and TGTs) to the extent of vacancies on purely temporary basis and as per acute need.
📋 Guidelines
i. Selection at School Level
Selection shall be done at School level. Every school shall form a committee with the following members:
Convenor – Principal concerned
Member – PGT/TGT concerned subject
Member – Dy. Educational Officer concerned
Member – Mandal Educational Officer / Head Master – Concerned Mandal
Member – Assistant Director, Schemes (concerned district)
Procedure: Interview followed by demonstration class. Meritorious candidates only to be selected. Guest Teachers must have the requisite qualification. Demonstration class to check capabilities. Maintain a register with candidate details, performance, merit order, and record of selected candidates.
ii. No appointment orders / future claim
There will not be any appointment orders to the guest teachers and they do not have any right whatsoever to claim any regular appointment in future by virtue of this temporary work.
iii. Honorarium & payment
Honorarium will be paid based on the work done statement in a month, duly certified by a Senior Teacher and Principal, through voucher/receipt in the proforma below:

iv. Facility & compliance
- This facility is extended to the posts as per the list appended to these proceedings to ensure continuity of teaching and learning.
- Principals shall maintain a work done register for all Guest Teachers/Lecturers for verification by the Inspecting Officer.
- ⏳ Selection must be completed on war footing. Whole process within seven days from date of issue of this order to avoid academic loss.
- After completion, District Educational Officers shall submit a compliance report to the undersigned at once.
