All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that, Andhra Pradesh State Assessment Cell (APSAC) is being established to strengthen the assessment system in the state. It is proposed to establish APSAC in SCERT with A team of 18 members. Out of total 18 posts 15 positions will be filled with Headmasters/Teachers working in government/ ZP/ MP managed schools by way of deputation duly claiming their salaries from their respective schools duly following the selection procedure annexed here with, i.e OMR Based Test followed by personal interview. The objective of this selection procedure is to ensure National Standards and benchmark of Teacher quality in the selection process to the positions of AP State Assessment Cell.

All rights are vested with the Commissioner of School Education, to make any amendments/ changes during the process of recruitment, selection and deputation at any stage.

The guidelines and timelines are annexed herewith.

Therefore, all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are requested to disseminate the above to all Headmasters/Teachers in their jurisdictions for enabling them to apply for the position in APSAC.

This has got the approval of Commissioner of School Education.

Procedure for submission of application online: The applications will be received through online. A Google form will be circulated to apply to the test. The examination centers will be constituted in the erstwhile districts and eligible candidates will be informed through the District Educational Officers concerned.

Qualifications for the selection of AP-SAC members

The criteria for screening applicants under each role are based on the qualifications.

The pattern of the the recruitment test

The recruitment test will be conducted on these six areas:

  1. knowledge of core subject matter (subject matter and pedagogy)
  2. knowledge of assessments
  3. knowledge of the English language
  4. knowledge of the Telugu language
  5. knowledge of computer skills
  6. aptitude and reasoning skills

A common test paper which includes topics from points ‘1’ to ‘6’ and two levels of subject-specific recruitment tests papers will be designed. The applicants will answer the test based on the grade and subject they have applied for. The table below provides information about each level:
