Special TET for In-service Teachers – August 2026

1. Steps to be followed in submission of application online
- Download Information Bulletin from http://cse.ap.gov.in/ and read eligibility carefully.
- Register at APONLINE/e-Seva – get a Journal Number. Use it to submit the application online from 25.08.2026 to 24.09.2026.
- Pay fee – Rs. 1,000/- per paper through Payment Gateway within the same dates. A Journal Number alone does not confirm application; only successful payment + final submission counts.
- Photo & signature – passport-size photo (3.5×3.5 cm). Paste on white paper, sign in black ink below, scan as JPEG (max 50 KB). Signature must be within the box.

3. Eligibility & Qualifications
- Who can apply: In-service teachers (Regular & Minimum Time Scale) working in Government / Local Body / APREIS / Government Welfare Societies / AP Model Schools / Pvt. Aided / other Government departments.
- Pass in Special TET qualifies only for mandatory condition for continuation in present post or promotion (as per Supreme Court order dt. 01.09.2025 in Civil Appeal No. 1385/5025).
- Cannot be used for direct recruitment – candidates must appear for regular APTET/CTET for that purpose.
- Paper I: Secondary Grade Teachers and LFL Head Masters (with D.El.Ed & B.Ed) can appear.
Paper II: School Assistants, TGTs, Language Pandits, High School Head Masters. - School Assistants working as PS HMs shall appear for Paper-II.

4. Structure & Content (Paper I & II)
All questions are Multiple Choice (MCQs) – 1 mark each, no negative marking. Two papers:
- Paper-I (Classes I–V): 150 MCQs, 2h 30min
- Paper-II (Classes VI–VIII): 150 MCQs, 2h 30min
- SGT candidates with both D.El.Ed and B.Ed are eligible for both Paper-I and Paper-II.

- CDP syllabus: based on D.El.Ed curriculum of Andhra Pradesh.
- Language-I: choose from 6 languages (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Odiya) – must have studied it up to Class X / Intermediate / Graduation.
- Language-II: English is compulsory for all.
- Mathematics & EVS: 24 MCQs on content, 6 on pedagogy. Syllabus from Classes III–VIII, linkage up to Class X.
- Follow 2025–26 State Syllabus textbooks (Class III–X) and D.Ed / D.El.Ed editions (2014–2025, 2019 SCERT).

- CDP syllabus: based on B.Ed curriculum of Andhra Pradesh.
- Language-I: choose from 7 languages – must have studied up to Class X / Intermediate / Graduation. Language teachers (except English) must opt their concerned subject as first language.
- Language-II: English compulsory.
- Mathematics, Science, Social Studies: Content & Pedagogy split as shown. Syllabus from Classes VI–X, linkage up to Intermediate (XII).
- Follow 2025–26 State Syllabus textbooks (Class VI–X) and D.Ed / D.El.Ed / B.Ed editions.
5. Medium of Question Paper
Bilingual – English followed by the Language-I chosen by the candidate.
- For Sanskrit candidates (Paper-II): CDP in Telugu followed by Sanskrit; Language-II in English; rest in Sanskrit.
- No Hindi/Sanskrit medium option for non-language subjects.
6. Pass Criteria – Special TET August 2026

- Differently abled: 40% disability (except Hearing Impairment: 70 DB loss for Deaf, 60–70 DB for Hard of Hearing) as per GO.MS.No:36.
- Certificate will be digitally issued, available in DigiLocker.
7. Certificate Validity & Marks Memo
Validity: Lifetime (as per NCTE guidelines 09.06.2021 & G.O.Ms.No.69, 25.10.2021). No restriction on attempts.
8. Procedure for applying ONLINE
- Download Information Bulletin from cse.ap.gov.in.
- Register at APONLINE/e-Seva → get Journal Number.
- Use Journal Number to submit application online (25.08.2026 – 24.09.2026).
- Pay fee Rs. 1,000/- per paper through Payment Gateway (same dates).
- Photo & signature as per specifications (JPEG, ≤50 KB).
- Upload photo, fill details, preview, submit, and take printout. Do not post the printout.
Photo upload instructions: Paste photo on white paper, sign in black ink within box. Scan the required portion (photo+signature) – not the whole page. If unclear or wrong size, application rejected.
9. Fee Particulars
Rs. 1,000/- per paper. Pay through Payment Gateway between 25.08.2026 – 24.09.2026.
10. Process for Computer Based Test (CBT)
- CBT mode – transparent, accurate. Test centres identified by agency, compliant with national standards (IIT JEE, CAT, IBPS, etc.).
- Conducted in all districts; candidates can choose district or adjacent districts.
- Strict action against malpractice (Andhra Pradesh Public Examination Act, 1997).
- One Gazetted Officer (MEO / HM / Deputy DEO) per centre to assist.
Examination Centres
- Each centre: 300–500 candidates per session, good infrastructure.
- Preferably in District HQ, Municipalities, Revenue divisions, Mandals.
- Centres inspected by District Educational Officer.
11. Normalization
Standard normalization technique will be applied. Formula is based on shift-wise performance. Marks calculated up to 5 decimal places.

12. Hall Tickets
Download from cse.ap.gov.in from 05.10.2026 onwards. In case of difficulty, contact the Director/Commissioner office in person with Journal Number, application reference, printout, and photograph.
13. Objections on Key
Subject expert committee (SCERT) is final authority for initial key objections. No objections on final key.
