AP TET Notification 2022 Eligibility Criteria, Age, Application Process Details explained below ## APTET 2022 Notification TET Schedule Eligibility Syllabus Release at aptet.apcfss.in AP-TET 2022 Notification:  Online applications are invited for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET- August, 2022) from the candidates aspiring to be Teachers in State  Government, MandalParishad,  ZillaParishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and  Private un-aided schools etc., under the control of Andhra Pradesh State for classes I to VIII. Govt. of India have enacted RTE Act, 2009 on 27.08.2009 titled “The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education”. Sub-Section (1) of section 23 of the RTE Act, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi has laid down minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a TeacherAPTET 2022 will be conducted through Computer Based Test in Paper-I (( A) & (B)) & Paper-II ((A) & (B)). The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I (A).The candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII and Language Pandits for VI-VIII have to appear for paper-II ( A). The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V in Special Education have to appear for the examination under Paper I (B) and the candidates who intends to be teachers for classes from VI to VIII) in respect of Special Education have to appear for paper II(B. The candidates who intends to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for all papers, i.e. Paper-I (A) &(B), Paper-II (A) & ( B), as per requisite qualifications. #### Validity period of AP TET 2022 Certificate / MarksMemo: APTET Certificate / Marks Memo shall remain valid for life time in accordance with NCTE guidelines as amended by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.69, Dated: 25.10.2021. In other words, 20% Weightage is for APTET score and 80% Weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for drawing up the selection list. **APTET 2022 Eligibility -Qualifications Required** The candidates at the time of applying for APTET, August, 2022 should be in possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper- I (A) & (B)) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II (A) & (B)) as given in Information Bulletin. The candidates who are pursuing final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be, up to the academic year 2020-2022 can also appear for the APTET August,2022. APTET 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria The candidates go through the APTET Eligibility Criteria 2022 to ensure they are eligible for the APTET Exam 2022. In case the candidates fail to comply with the APTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria then they will have to face rejection or disqualification. | Paper | Educational Qualification | | APTET Paper-I | Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However, in the case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. In respect of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education. (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or been admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to the issue of these guidelines. | | APTET Paper II-A (Mathematics and Science Teachers / Social Studies Teachers) | (i)Any graduation in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40% and pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) – Special Education.) (ii) 4- year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC / ST / BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% Or 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. | | APTET Paper II-A (Language Teachers) | Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects OR Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in Language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers. | | APTET Paper II-B (Physical Education Teachers) | Must possess an Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (or) Equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P. and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed.) of One or Two years duration/ Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) of duration not less than Two years (or equivalent) from any NCTE Recognized Institution.
