CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS INTO APTWR SCHOOLS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23: 

Unit of Admission: District is the criteria (Erstwhile 13 districts during the year 2022-23)

Admissions Committee Chairman Members Convener Members: 

Project Officer, ITDA / j.t. Collector of Non-ITDA Dy. Director (TW) in ITDA / DTWO in non-ITDA Principals of all Gurukulam Institutions. (Convener Principal shall coordinate the admissions activity)

Parental Income limit: Not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- per annum.

Method of selection: Merit in written test to be conducted at District level

Admission Process:

  • The candidates belongs to erstwhile 13 districts are eligible for applying for entrance test for admission into 5th class and backlog vacancies
    in 6th to 9th classes for ST candidates.
  • The written test and Merit basis process shall be done in a transparent manner in the presence of all the members of the committee.
  • The students so selected shall be allotted to individual schools according to the choice of the student.
  • The Convener Principal shall circulate the fle for entire admissions process
    to the Chair person of the Admissions Committee and get approval.
  • 5th class is the entry point for the General ST Schools for the academic year- 2022-23.
  • Applications shall be received through aptwgurukulam.ap.gov.in only.
  • No physical application will be entertained for considering to allow entrance
  • Hall Ticket will be generated soon after uploading the details of the candidates in the above website and download the hall ticket and the candidates shall bring the downloaded the Hall ticket and produce at the time of entrance test for verification.
  • Written test shall be conducted for all the received online applications
  • Based on the merit in the written test, merit lists will be prepared as per the reservation policy mentioned above.
  • The selected candidates list shall be displayed in the notice board informed through call letters for admissions.

Computerization & publication of lists:

After due date for receipt of applications, the lists of applicants shall be prepared District wise, Community wise, Gender wise and class wise nominal rolls for conduct of entrance test.

Provide option to the Convener Principals concerned for posting the marks in written test for generating the merit lists.

After posting of marks in the web application, generate institution wise, class wise, caste wise merit list as per the option exercised by the candidate and communicate to the Secretary, Gurukualm for onward forwarding the lists to the District level admissions committee for taking up further necessary action.

Final selected Lists:

After evaluation of answer scripts, the Convener Principal shall prepare the merit list Class wise, Community wise (ST, SC, BC, OC, PHC, AEQ etc.) as per the institution chose exercised by the candidate in coordination with other Gurukulam Principals of that particular district. After getting approval from the Project Officer, ITDA / .t. Collector of non-ITDA district, displayed in notice board of all Residential Schools, O/o Project Officer, ITDAs & O/o. the Dy. Director (TW) / .t. Collector of Non-ITDA district & DTWO Office.
