Closure of Academic Year 2020-21 and declaration of summer holidays for Classes I to IX from 20.04.2021 GUIDELINES

Sub: School Education – COVID 19 Pandemic – Closure of Academic Year 2020-21 and declaration of summer holidays for Classes I to IX from 20.04.2021 (last working day i.e., 19.04.2021) for all schools functioning under all managements for the Academic Year 2020-21 – G.O. communication – Certain instructions issued – Regarding.

 

While communicating a copy of the ref 18th cited, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Ofcers in the State are informed that, the Government have issued orders for Closure of Academic Year 2020-21 and declared summer holidays for Classes I to IX from 20.04.2021 (last working day i.e., 19.04.2021) for all schools functioning under all managements for the Academic Year 2020-21. Further, all students of Classes I to IX are treated as PASS and promoted to next classes without Summative Assessment – II Examinations for the Academic Year 2020-21.

In compliance to the above orders, the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Ofcers shall take necessary action on the following points duly issuing instructions to the headmasters/teachers of all primary and upper primary schools in addition to the headmasters of high schools to complete the following tasks on or before 30.04.2021.

1. a. Headmasters of all Primary & Upp.Primary Schools have to upload
   the Formative Assessment – I (FA-I) and Formative Assessment – II
   (FA-II) Marks list in the https://studentinfo.ap.gov.in and prepare the
   promotion lists and handover to the Mandal Educational Ofcers
   concerned. The Headmasters shall leave for vacation only after
   completion of the above task, those who will not upload and
   handover the lists, they shall not be allowed to leave for vacation.
2. The Headmasters of Upp.Primary Schools and High Schools where
   Nadu-Nedu Phase-I works are pending, they shall complete the all
   the pending work and record work on or before 30.04.2021.
3.  All Teachers and Headmasters are requested to upload the UDISE+
   data for the year 2020-21 as per the instructions issued by this ofce
   vide ref 17th cited.
4. All Headmasters of Upp.Primary (Present 8th Class – Promoting to
   Class 9th for next academic year) and High Schools (Present Classes
   8th, 9th and 10th promoting to next classes) are requested to upload
   the requirements of Laptops as per the instructions issued by this
   ofce vide ref 16th cited.
5. Those Headmasters where Nadu-Nedu Phase-I works are completed
   they have to make necessary arrangements for safe protection of
   assets already built under Nadu-Nedu.
6. The Director, MDM & School Sanitation shall issue necessary
   instructions with regard to unutilized eggs, chikkies and ration etc.,
