SUB: School Education- IT, Planning & Statistics – UDISE+ for the year 2023- 24- Correction and Purification of UDISE+ Data submitted by Schools -& Progression Activity of 2024-25- workshop on 11-02-2025 @9AM Orders Issued.

The Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) serves as the master database for educational management information system, facilitating data-driven planning, monitoring, and decision-making. With its integrated real-time data collection and validation processes, UDISE+ ensures transparency and accountability in the education sector. However, it is noticed that several discrepancies, including the submission of inflated enrollment figures, have raised concerns about data integrity.

These type of practices are not only affecting the accuracy of enrollment figures but also having a significant adverse impact on the department’s operations, both academically and financially. Falsified data leads to improper resource allocation, misdirected planning, and inefficient utilization of funds, undermining the effectiveness of educational programs and policies. Moreover, inflated figures distort the academic focus by misrepresenting the actual needs of students and schools, hindering the department’s ability to provide targeted interventions.

In view of the above, the attention of the Regional Joint Directors, District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are invited to the references read above, where in UDISE+ data collection for the year 2024-25 was completed, in view of analysing some Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /critical indicators some gaps were found. Some facilities which are available in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 are missing in the exceptional reports for the year 2024-25, which is resulting in our state’s low performance at the National level and low rank in all National Dashboards like, SDG, PGI and SEQI etc.

In this connection it is decided to organize one-day workshop on data purification for all the ASOs, APOs and MIS Coordinators of all 26 districts in Vijayawada on 11-02-25 09 AM Venue will be intimated soon.
