📅 Last Date Extended / Important Deadline: Completely filled application form along with photograph, documents & specimens of latest original art work must reach CCRT, New Delhi on or before May 31, 2026. Applications received after Sunday, 31 May 2026 will be rejected. No postal delay responsibility.

⚠️ MANDATORY INSTRUCTIONS: Incomplete applications, old format forms, missing art specimens/self-attested certificates, or those applying in more than one art form → straight rejection. Maximum 3 students per Guru/Institution only.

🎯 Scholarship Value

✔ ₹3,600/- per year (fixed)
✔ Additional training fee reimbursement up to ₹9,000/- per year
✔ Total benefit up to ₹12,600 annually.
✔ Duration: initially 2 years, renewable up to age 20 or first university degree.

👧 Eligibility Age

Born between 01.07.2012 and 30.06.2016 (both inclusive) → Age 10-14 years as on cut-off.
✔ Minimum 3 years training in applied art form (except Creative Writing).
✔ Monthly family income < ₹8,000 preferred.

♿ Differently Abled – 20 seats
✍️ Creative Writing/Literary Arts – 30 seats
🎭 Traditional Artists Family (3+ gen) – 125 seats
🎯 General – 375 seats

📌 Scheme Overview & Selection Criteria

Object: To provide specialized training in traditional music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, crafts, literary arts – especially rare art forms. The scheme identifies outstanding talented children in the age group 10-14 years.

Selection Process: Central Selection Committee scrutinizes applications. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by post (and website) about interviews/tests from July 2026 at Regional level. Evaluation on 1-10 marks scale, merit-based selection subject to category-wise availability.

Progress Reports: Half-yearly reports (Jan-Jun by July 15; Jul-Dec by Jan 15) mandatory for renewal. Scholarship may be discontinued for unsatisfactory progress or delayed reports.

Disputes jurisdiction: Delhi High Court only. CCRT reserves right to modify scheme terms.

📖 Detailed Eligibility & Submission Rules

Only exceptionally talented students should apply. National level, limited scholarships.
Date of Birth certificate (Registrar Birth & Death) self-attested copy must be attached. School principal must certify DOB in form.
Mandatory 3 years training in the art form (Guru/Institution details + Guru bio-data on last page). Not required for Creative Writing/Literary Arts.
One applicant → One art form only. Multiple applications across art forms = immediate rejection.
Only 3 students per Guru / per Institution (even multiple teachers). If more than 3 submitted, all rejected based on receipt date.
ST category: attach valid ST certificate (self-attested). Differently Abled: valid disability certificate. TAF (Traditional Artists Family): separate sheet describing 3 generations’ contribution to art.
Creative Writing/Literary Arts: attach 3 specimens of original work (poems, stories, plays, essays) in any 8th schedule language or English, duly attested by Principal/Headmaster.
Painting: attach 3 original paintings (not photographs). Crafts/Sculpture: attach 3 photographs of original art objects certified by Guru. Performing arts: attach training certificate + 3 postcard-size performance/training photos.
No existing CCRT or other scholarship holder in same art form can apply. Scholarship recipients must not accept another stipend in same field without prior approval.

Note: This is a replica of the official CCRT application form for 2026-27. Applicants must fill physical form with original signatures, attachments, and send before 31 May 2026 to CCRT, New Delhi. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/test from July 2026 onwards. No separate intimation for rejected applications.

💵 Financial Benefits

◆ ₹3,600/- per year as scholarship.
◆ Actual tuition fee reimbursement up to ₹9,000 annually (based on receipts).
◆ Payment through PFMS directly to parent/guardian bank account.
◆ Scholarship valid from specified date or admission date with approved Guru.

📅 Duration & Renewal

Initial 2 years; renewable every 2 years up to first university degree stage or age 20, whichever earlier, subject to satisfactory progress (half-yearly reports mandatory). Discontinuation if progress unsatisfactory or reports not submitted timely.

Change of Guru: Prior approval of CCRT required with new Joining Report and justification. If training discontinued without permission, scholarship cancelled and certificate withheld.

No State/UT quota: Selection purely based on merit and available slots. All disputes subject to Delhi High Court jurisdiction.

💡 Important: Only three (03) students per Guru/Institution can apply. Applications of those already holding any CCRT or other scholarship in same art form will be rejected. The Central Selection Committee’s decision is final. Incomplete / old format forms not accepted.

🔹 Last date: 31st May 2026 (Sunday). Applications after that not entertained. The applicant must ensure they possess minimum 3 years of training and proficiency (except Creative Writing). CCRT may take help from CBSE, State Boards, NGOs to identify talent.
