1. INTRODUCTION

a) Applications are invited ON-LINE from 13/05/2026 to 02/06/2026 for the Departmental Tests MAY-2026 Session. The date of examinations will be announced later.
b) Applicants shall first register One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) through the Commission’s Website. After registration, a User ID is generated and sent to registered mobile & email. Applicants need to apply for Tests using OTPR User ID.
c) Applicants who already generated OTPR earlier for last Departmental Tests shall apply directly using the same number and update their working district as per new 26 districts before submitting application.
d) Application available on website from 13/05/2026. Last date for submission: 02/06/2026 (fee payment deadline up to 11:00 PM).
e) Hand written / Typed / Photostat copies / outside printed Application Form will not be accepted and liable for rejection.
f) Terms and conditions follow Departmental Tests Rules, 1965 and subsequent amendments.

2. SCHEME OF THE EXAMINATION

a) All Tests except Language and Survey Tests will be Objective Type (G.O.Ms.No.602).
b) Language Test papers (PC.Nos.5,6,7,19,28,36,49,67,37,58,74) and Survey & Settlement papers (PC.Nos.69,87,109,111,116,118,120,122,133,135,161,162,165,166) will be Conventional mode.
c) Objective type papers will be held as Computer Based Departmental Tests. Instructions in Annexure-1.
d) Mock Test facility available on Commission’s Website to acquaint with Computer Based Tests.
e) Conventional Papers: Bar code sheet attached Answer Books, answer with Blue or Black Pen.
f) Schedule of Test timings as per G.O.Ms.No.55 (02/05/2017):

3. TIMETABLE & SYLLABUS

A. Timetable: Detailed schedule at Annexure-II on Commission’s website. Candidate may apply for more than one Test as per timetable permissions.
B. Syllabus & Books allowed: Available on the Commission’s Website. Qualifying marks shown at Annexure-II.

4. EXAMINATION CENTRES

All Departmental Tests will be conducted at all 26 Districts of A.P. Candidates allotted to the district where they are presently working. If sufficient accommodation not available, nearest district will be considered.

5 (A) ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR FOR THE TEST(S)

i) Employees of Government of Andhra Pradesh eligible for Tests prescribed in respective Departmental Service Rules.
ii) Secretariat employees allowed for certain Tests (Commercial Taxes: PC 6 & 7; Treasuries & Accounts: PC Nos. 31,46,64,79,89,100,114,129).
iii) Typists-cum-Assets (Finance Wing) eligible for Treasuries & Accounts Service Examination.
iv) Candidates for Sericulture, Mines & Geology (PC 150), Divisional Test, Works Accounts, etc. must refer to respective Service Rules.
v) The following Paper Codes are open to all (whether in Government Service or not):

5 (B) SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR CERTAIN TESTS

Divisional Test (PC.30,63,81,113,138): Senior Assistants/Superintendents with 3+ years service in specified departments allowed. Service certificate must be uploaded. Commerce graduates claiming exemption from Paper-I must upload degree certificate.
Mines & Geology (PC 150): Upload service certificate signed by controlling officer.
Fisheries Dept Test-II: Training information required.
Criminal Judicial Test with Law qualification: Law degree certificate for exemption from Papers I & II.
Translation Test (PC 19,28): Mention language for PC.28.
Second Class Language Test (PC 05): Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil & Urdu.
Gujarati (PC 06) & Marwari (PC 07): Application to be forwarded by HOD (Commercial Tax Department only).
Special Language Test Education Dept: Higher (PC.37) / Lower (PC.36). Candidate must opt language.
Second/Third Class Language Tests: Must pass all parts at a time (as per revised scheme). For Third Class Language Test (PC.155) only Viva-Voce.
Survey & Land Records: Surveyor’s Test in one language (English/Telugu/Urdu).
Question Papers: English only except Surveyor’s & Translation tests. For MPHA/ANM (PC.171) question paper in Telugu only.

6 (A) FEE & PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Fee per Paper: Rs. 500/- (G.O.Ms.No.121).
Application Processing Fee: Rs. 500/- (G.O.Ms.No.233). No fee for Gujarati & Marwari Language Tests.
Mode of Payment: Online via Payment Gateway (Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card). IPOs / Demand Drafts not accepted.
Correction charge: Rs.100/- per correction (Name, personal details & fee cannot be changed). Fee once remitted non-refundable.

7. HOW TO APPLY – ONLINE PROCEDURE

STEP I: First-time applicants: fill OTPR carefully to obtain OTPR ID.
STEP II: Login with OTPR ID & Password → click “Online Application Submission”.
STEP III: Fill application-specific data and submit payment form.
STEP IV: Click payment link against Notification No. 03/2026; verify prepopulated details.
STEP V: After successful payment, payment reference ID generated. Fill application form, select exam centre, submit. Save Application Receipt.
STEP VI: If payment fails, restart fresh payment as per STEP II.

📌 Important Notes: Commission not responsible for omissions in bio-data. Corrections allowed on payment of ₹100/- per field (except name/personal details/fee). Photo & Signature upload: JPEG format, Photo: 3.5cm x 4.5cm (<50KB), Signature: 3.5cm x 1.5cm (<30KB).

General provisions: Mere admission to Test/Viva-Voce does not confer right to final result. Candidates must preserve Hall Tickets (duplicate not issued). Bio-data changes accepted only within 15 days from last day of examinations.

8. REJECTIONS – GROUNDS

  • Failure to upload Photo/Signature.
  • Failure to pay examination/application fee.
  • Scanned Service Certificate not uploaded (duly signed by controlling officer with seal).
  • Application not in terms of notification.
  • Applicant not eligible as per Para 5.
  • Applying during debarment period.

9. OBJECTIONS DISSOLVED

Negative marking system cancelled (G.O.Ms.No.101). System of calling for objections dispensed with to avoid delay in results.

10. REJECTION OF ANSWER SCRIPTS (CONVENTIONAL TYPE)

Failure to encode Register Number, Subject Code, Centre Name, Signature on BAR CODE Sheet attached to Answer Booklet will lead to rejection. Use of whitener on BAR CODE Sheet leads to disqualification.

11. PUBLICATION OF RESULTS

Results displayed on Commission’s Notice Board and official website https://psc.ap.gov.in. No individual Pass Certificate will be issued.

12. MEMORANDUM OF MARKS & RECOUNTING

Memorandum of Marks: Unsuccessful candidates may obtain marks on payment of Rs.200/- via IPO/Bank Draft within ONE MONTH from result date, along with Hall Ticket copy.
Recounting of Marks: For Conventional Type Tests only, within 15 days from result publication; fee Rs.300/- per paper. Revaluation not entertained.

13. DEBARMENT & PENALTIES

Candidates are liable for debarment permanently / for fixed term for incorrect information, malpractice, misbehavior in exam hall, applying during debarment, or re-appearing after passing the same Test. Disciplinary action and entry in Service Register may follow. Malpractice provisions as per Act No.25/97 and G.O.Ms.No.385.

14. COMMUNICATIONS & FINAL DECISION

Communications through pleader/agent will not be attended. Commission’s decision regarding application, examination, results is final under Articles 315 & 320 of Constitution of India. Commission reserves right to alter/modify terms due to unforeseen circumstances.
