Entrance Test Notification for Admission into
Bachelor of Education Programme [B.Ed.–ODL] 2022–23 (Recognised by NCTE)

ELIGIBILITY:

1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

2.Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks eitherB.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc.(Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.3. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
3.The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/B.Tech must have
Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
4. B.C.A. candidate must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology.
5. The Candidates who passed the qualifying examination by May/June, 2022 are alone
eligible.
6. The candidate do not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate, the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied relevant subject at PG)
7. Apart from the above, the candidates must fulfil any one of the following conditions as per
NCTE-2014 Regulations.
i. Should be Trained in-service Teachers in Elementary Education (NCTE recognised
Teacher Training completed.
ii. Should have completed NCTE recognised Teacher Education programme in
Elementary Education through face-to-face mode
(TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./TPT/HPT/UPT/B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed.-Qualification is must).
9. The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue.
10. EWS quota seats will allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant
certificates/documents.
11. Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2022. There is no upper age limit.
Note:
i. As per the GOMS No: 92 and GOMS NO.13, the candidates who passed
MBBS/BDS/BPT/BAMS/BL/LLB/B.Pharm/BHMT/BVSC/B.Sc.(AG)/B.A.(Language
s)/BOL etc. and other such Professional and Job Oriented courses are not eligible for
admission into B.Ed. Programme.
ii. Diploma in ECE /PSE, Diploma in Arts Education and other Pre-Primary Teacher
Training Certificate/Diploma (PPTTC) completed candidates are not eligible for
admission into B.Ed. (ODL) Programme.

Medium : Entrance test will be conducted in Telugu Laanguage (medium) only

Tuition Fee : Rs.40,000/- to be paid at the time of Admission for the entire programme of two years.

Duration : 02 Academic years

Syllabus for Entrance Test:

The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective type
(Multiple Choice) questions.
Part-I: General English Comprehension (25 Marks)
Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu (25 Marks)
Part-III: General Mental Ability (50 Marks)

Mode of Entrance Test : Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode].
Registration to appear the Entrance Test:
Register through ONLINE in the University portal (www.braouonline.in) and pay the Registration fee of Rs. 1000/-(Rupees one thousand only) and S.C/ST/ PwD candidates may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred fifty only) through online on or before: 22-05-2023. Last date for Registration & payment of Entrance Test fee with a late fee of Rs. 500/-: 28-05-2023.

Details of Entrance Test :
Entrance Test will be held on 06-06-2023 (from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM) at selected Examination Centre. The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Entrance Test Centre(s) other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances.

The candidates have to download the Hall tickets from university website from 02-06-2023 from the university website and affix the latest passport size photograph (which is exactly similar to the on uploaded in the Online application) in the space provided and get it attested by a Gazetted  Officer/Principal of the College, without the hall ticket the candidate is not allowed to appear for
entrance test
