Ref:- Academic Calendar, 2023-24. Attention of all the District Educational Ofcers in the state is invited to the reference cited, wherein Sankranthi Holidays were declared from 09.01.2024 to 18.01.2024( 10 days) for all Primary and High Schools in the state, under various managements including Govt., ZPP / MPP, Aided, Private un-aided Schools for the Academic Year 2023-24. Further, numerous requests are being received from Parents and Teachers requesting to extend the Sankranthi Holidays for additional two days i.e., 19.01.2024& 20.01.2024. In consideration of the requests, government has decided to extend the Sankranthi Holidays for an additional 2 days, i.e., 19.01.2024 & 20.01.2024 and Schools shall re-open on 22.01.2024.
