NEP-2020, NIPUN Bharat guidelines and NCF FS-2022. 2. MoU signed with ASER (Pratham) by Government of Andhra Pradesh, dated 17-08-2022. 3. Proceedings SS-15023/23/2023-SAMO-SSA Dated: 16-10-2024 01-11-2024, 22.11.2024 and 06.12.2024 of the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha AP. All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed that the State government is prioritizing foundational literacy and numeracy aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and other key frameworks. This focus on early childhood care and education (ECCE) is crucial for ensuring that children develop essential skills at a young age. In this context a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the skills of Grade 1 and 2 teachers through a structured 60-day certificate course. This collaboration between the Department of School Education, Samagra Shiksha, and ASER (Pratham) emphasizes a blended learning approach, combining both offline and online training methods. Accordingly, a comprehensive training initiative is taken up by the department to train the 34,000 SGTs in six days in the residential mode across the state in 14 spells. Accordingly, four spells were successfully rolled out and the teachers were enthusiastically participated in the trainings across the state. They will coordinate with DIET principals, District Academic Monitoring Officers (AMOs), Girl ChildD evelopment Officers (GCDOs), Inclusive Education Coordinators (IECo),Alternative School Coordinators (ALS Co), and clerical staff in the DEO office to facilitate effective training for SGTs. This collaboration is essential for organizing logistics, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring that the training meets its objectives. 2 The District Educational Officers should ensure that the assigned SGTs aredeputed to the training program on a spell-wise basis from their respectivedistricts. It’s important to ensure that no teacher is sent to the training programmore than once 3 AMOs where the venues are located has to look after the logistics,arrangements and other essentials required at the venues timely 4 The list of the participants proceedings should be released at district level foreach spell from the list which the state has received from the respective ASOs 5 “Since we have 34,000 Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) from all 13 erstwhile districts, the participants’ list should be released at the district level foreach spell, based on the list received from the respective ASOs. The proceedings for the participants’ list should also be issued at the district level accordingly.” 6 “The district officials responsible for each spell should be rotated based on thedistricts mapped to the respective venue. For example, at the Srikakulamvenue, officials from Srikakulam district will take responsibility for the first spell, followed by Manyam for the second spell and so on. This rotation systemshould be applied to all venues, ensuring that all district officials share theresponsibility for the successful conduction of the trainings.” 7 Each venue will have 4 in charges overseeing various aspects includingcoordination with vendors, food arrangements, technical support,accommodation, stationery and sanitation. 8 Concerned RJDs and DEOs are instructed to conduct the preparatory meetingswith AMOs, ASOs, GCDOs, IECo, ALSCo and MEOs to send the participants tothe mapped venues without fail. 9 Monitoring committee to be formed at every venue with the mapped district officials for monitoring the facilities and observe the sessions. 10 IFP Pannels should be installed by the DNOs (District Nodal Officer) withcoordination of IFP vendors in each classroom and DEOs should make a followup on this DRPs should be allotted for each classroom and 1 KRP&1 MEO foreach venue 11 The DEOs should not depute the single teachers from single teacher’s schoolsfor the trainings and the state officials will notify the district officials with analternative plan on how to train the single teacher schools. 12 4 PETs (2 male and 2 female PETs) should be allotted in each venue for conducting the extracurricular activities. 13 Mobile phones should be deposited in the classroom by keeping them in silentmode and it can be used only in break times. 14 G. Maheshwar Reddy, Teacher Training in charge of Samagra Shiksha, AP will be coordinating with logistics facilities across all the Venues in the state for successful completion of trainings. 15 The KRPs and DRPs who are listed in the attached proceedings should not be sent as participants for 60-day certification course.
