In exercise of the powers conferred under Article 243-K of the constitution of India, sub-section (2) of section t3 and sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Act 13 of 1994), the state Election commission,Andhra Pradesh, hereby, calls upon the registered voters in the Gram panchayats located in the Revenue Divisions indicated District-wise in Annexure-Il appended tothis Notification, to elect their respective Ward Members and Sarpanches.Further, under Section 201-4 (1) of the Andhra pradesh panchayat Raj Act,1994 and Rule 4 of the Andhra pradesh panchayat Rai (conduct of Elections) Rules,2006, the Election schedule for ordinary elections to Gram panchayats in 4 phases is specified in Annexure-I appended to this Notification.
