IARI is under the Administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, DARE, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi releases recruitment notifications for
various posts and ICAR IARI has released a recruitment notification for 462 Assistant vacancies to be recruited at various centres. IARI Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

As
mentioned in the ICAR IARI Notification 2022, only the candidates holding the required eligibility criteria are liable to apply for Assistant posts. The required eligibility criteria include educational qualification and age limit which has been described as follows-

IARI Assistant Nationality

A candidate applying for the said post must be either
a) A citizen of India,
b) A citizen of Nepal,
c) A citizen of Bhutan,
d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
e)
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan Burma, Sri
Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of
Tanzania, Zambia Malawi, Zaira, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention
of permanently settling in India.

ICAR IARI Recruitment 2022 Assistant Education Qualification

The candidate should be a Graduate or equivalent from a recognized Board to be eligible to apply for ICAR Assistant Recruitment 2022. The candidates will have to produce the certificate/document issued by the University evidencing the conversion formula of the university when called for document verification.
IARI Assistant Age Limit (as on 01/06/2022) The candidates applying for ICAR IARI Assistant Recruitment 2022 must be between 20 years to 30 years as mentioned in the notification. The maximum age limit for Serving regular employees of ICAR is 45 years as on 1st June 2022.

Note- In any circumstance maximum age limit cannot be more than 45 years as on 01 June 2022

IARI Assistant 2022 Selection Process

The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of the three-stage selection process Prelims-Mains-Skill Test conducted by the exam authority for which the syllabus & exam pattern has been provided below. The candidates shortlisted through Prelims & Mains will be called for a Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test).  The minimum qualifying marks in Preliminary & Mains Examinations will not be less than as follows:
UR : 30%
OBC/ EWS : 25%
SC/ST/Divyang : 20%

Note- Merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance of candidates in Paper – I, Paper-II of the Mains Examinations

ICAR IARI Assistant 2022 Exam Pattern

The authorities will conduct two written tests (Prelims & Mains) and candidates have to qualify in each exam to get shortlisted for the skill test. Have a look at the IARI Exam Pattern, marking scheme, and time duration for each stage from the below section.

ICAR IARI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

There will be 100 MCQ in IARI Assistant Prelims Exam for 2 marks each. There will be a negative marking for 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer. Each section consists of 25 questions. The duration of completing the prelims exam is 1 hour and for scribe candidates, the duration is 1 hour 20 minutes.

ICAR IARI Assistant Salary 2022

The selected candidates will have to undergo one-year on-the-job training. As mentioned in ICAR IARI Notification, the candidatures selected for the post of Assistant in the Indian Agriculture Research Institute will be salaried as per the department. The salary will be framed as per the 7th CPC.
