All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that the Government is giving high priority to effective implementation and monitoring of the Dokka Seethamma Madhyahana Badi Bhojanam (Mid-Day Meal Scheme). Nearly 32 lakhs children are getting benefited across the state.

Further informed that the Hon’ble Chief Minister has issued instructions to implement a system-generated randomized inspection mechanism for District Educational Officers (DEOs) and Mandal Educational Officers (MEOs) to conduct inspections of schools implementing the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) Scheme.

Accordingly, necessary changes have been made in IMMS application and integrated with LEAP with regard to randomized visits of DEO/MEO to inspect MDM Schools application.

Further, a user manual with regard to randomized visits of DEO/MEO to inspect MDM Schools application and updation in the LEAP App is enclosed herewith.

Hence, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to inspect the schools as per the schedule communicated to them through SMS and also issue necessary instructions to all the Mandal Educational Officers of their jurisdiction to inspect the concerned schools as per the schedule communicated to them through SMS and submit feedback through IMMS/LEAP app and ensure strict compliance.

Any deviation in the matter will be viewed seriously.
