  • Individuals must register by giving a missed call on the toll-free number 1800-315-7008.
  • Upon successful registration, participants will receive a WhatsApp message containing the live session link for the Guinness World Record attempt.
  • On 14th June 2026 (online record attempt), every participant must individually log in through their own device β€” each registered device that joins the session will be officially counted toward the Guinness World Record.
  • To ensure maximum participation, all officials, employees, affiliated institutions, organizations, Yoga practitioners, and the general public are requested to join separately through their personal devices.

🧘 Responsibilities of Educational Officers
  • Disseminate instructions to all institutions under all managements / offices across the State.
  • Ensure maximum participation involving students, teachers, parents, and staff in the International Day of Yoga celebrations scheduled on 14-06-2026 (Guinness World Record – online mode).
  • Physical celebration on 21-06-2026 β€” all institutions shall conduct the event in a grand and reflecting manner.
  • Upload photographs, event coverage, and short videos in the provided link (details given in official communication).
  • Report compliance as per the instructions from the Directorate.

πŸ“Œ Action required from Regional Joint Directors & District Educational Officers
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are requested to disseminate these instructions among all institutions, encourage massive participation and ensure that the International Day of Yoga is celebrated with full fervor. Follow the guidelines for both the online Guinness World Record attempt (14th June) and the physical celebration (21st June). Upload media content via the dedicated link and submit compliance report.

All institutions are requested to capture the essence of the day β€” high-quality photographs, event highlights, and short videos β€” and upload them to the designated portal (link provided by the Directorate). This will help document the scale of participation and showcase the collective energy of Yoga Day celebrations across the state.
