All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers in the State are hereby informed that the Government of Andhra Pradesh is set to host a major celebration for the 11th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2025, at Visakhapatnam being the primary venue. This year’s celebration holds special significance as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s declaration of International Day of Yoga. The occasion will be marked by the gracious presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India at the main state- level event in Visakhapatnam. Further, informed that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has been launched a month- long campaign titled “YOGANDHRA”. The campaign includes phased activities at the District, Mandal, institutional, and village levels, aiming for large-scale mobilization and community participation. The theme for this year’s International Yoga Day is“ Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” In this regard, a comprehensive Action Plan outlining the schedule of training, awareness, and celebration activities YOGANDRA Month wise 2025, culminating in the grand observance on 21^(st) June 2025. Further they are also requested to issue necessary instructions to all the Field Officers / Headmasters of all Management Schools to take up the above suggestive activities as per the given schedule under YOGANDHRA-2025 in their respective schools and encourage the students to participate in the YOGA activities and celebrations of 11^(th) International Day of Yoga on 21^(st), June-2025 duly following the following instructions. **Instructions:** a. All Educational institutions, including Government, Aided, and Private schools under all managements, shall participate in the celebrations. b. All the teachers, Students should be registered through the link [https://yogandhra.ap.gov.in/#/home/yoga-registration](https://yogandhra.ap.gov.in/#/home/yoga-registration). c. **Village-level and school-level awareness activities shall be organized with participation from School Management Committees (SMCs), Parents, and the Local Community.** d. **Common Yoga Protocol sessions shall be conducted in all schools from 12^(th) to 20^(th) June 2025, ensuring students are well-versed in basic Yoga practices.** e. Special celebrations such as Teachers’ Yoga Day, Children’s Yoga Day, and Yoga Competitions at various levels shall be held as per the scheduled action plan. f. The final celebration of International Yoga Day on 21^(st) June 2025 shall be conducted in a befitting manner in all schools following the **Common Yoga Protocol** prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH. g. **Reports and documentation of all events should be compiled and submitted to the Department by 25^(th) June 2025 for onward submission to the Ministry of AYUSH.** Dr. K.V.
