The attention of the District Educational Officers & DIET Principals in the State are invited to the reference cited and it is informed that CIET- NCERT is organizing an online training series on NEP 2020: Recommendations on ET & ICT every second week of the month from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday to orient the stakeholder of school education on the recommendations of NEP 2020 in leveraging digital technology. As a part of series for the month of August, CIET-NCERT is organizing five hours online training on ‘Leveraging Digital Technology for School and Teacher Education’ from 7th August, 2023 till 11th August, 2023 from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm (Training Schedule attached). The sessions will shed light on major digital initiatives for School and Teacher Education in India to tap the understanding regarding the necessity, significance, advancement, and utilization of digital technology in education. This training will harness the knowledge and perspectives of various stakeholders involved in school education, including teachers, students, teacher educators, administrators, and other individuals.

Therefore the District Educational Officers & DIET Principals in the State are instructed to disseminate the above information to various
stakeholders involved in school education, including teachers, students. teacher educators, administrators, and other individuals to participate in the training.

Further it is informed that the online training will be live telecasted on NCERT YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@NCERTOFFICIAL and also be simulcast through PM eVidya DTH TV channels numbered #6-12 and Jio TV mobile app. A post session quiz will be conducted and the participants scoring 70% and above will be certified (Certificate will be issued within one month of the training).

The banner and the information brochure of this online training programme may also be disseminated through websites/social media posts/instant messenger groups etc. All the details regarding this training is available in the following event page.

Participants have to
attend training sessions, which will be live-streamed on NCERT Official
YouTube channel –http://youtube.com/ncertofficial from 07-11 August 2023 August 2023 at 4:00- 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday). The session will also be telecasted live on the following:

Step: 3 Participation in Post-Session Activity and Certification:
Participate in the post session quiz, score 70% & above to get a certificate.

Closing Date: 21 August 2023, by 6:00 pm

Participants are allowed to attempt the quiz only once and those scoring 70% and above in the quiz will receive a certificate of participation in their registered mail ID within 30 days of taking the post session quiz (Check in SPAM Mail if not found in the Inbox).

Queries related to non-issue of certificate will be entertained only after 30 days from the date of opening the post-session assessment (i.e 21 September, 2023). Response will be provided only to the mails sent to the mail ID [email protected]
