ORDER
The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the 6th reference cited, wherein the Government has accorded permission to conduct the Mega Parent- Teacher Meeting (Mega PTM 3.1) on 24- 07- 2026 in all Government and Aided Schools and Junior Colleges across the State.
Further, they are hereby informed that, as per the Operational Guidelines and Minute- to- Programme for the Mega Parent- Teacher Meeting (Mega PTM 3.1) issued by the Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, vide the 7th reference cited, Mid- Day Meals shall be provided to all the participants attending the Mega PTM on 24- 07- 2026.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in State are to take necessary steps to arrange Mid Day Meals lunch to all the participants of Mega Parent- Teacher meeting (Mega PTM 3.1) to be held on 24- 07- 2026.
Further they are instructed to issue the following instructions to all the field functionaries of their jurisdiction:
1. Serving of Meals
Hot cooked Mid Day Meals shall be served to all participants. Common menu for all Zones: 1. White Rice, 2. Dal with leafy vegetables, 3. Egg Curry 4. Veg Curry of local available vegetables and Millet Peanut- Jaggery Chikki for all participants on 24- 07- 2026 only.
2. Hygiene and Meal Distribution
Ensure proper hygiene at the lunch area. Arrange lunch in a line- up manner. Ensure availability of safe drinking water throughout the day. Provide hand- washing facilities for participants to wash hands before and after meals. Maintain cleanliness at the hand- washing area.
3. Hygiene During Cooking and Serving
The cooking agency must follow all hygienic practices in the cooking area and during service. Staff must wear gloves, head caps, and overcoats while cooking and serving meals. NGOs/cooking agencies shall supply cooked meals in high- quality sealed insulated/stainless steel containers. Maintain the temperature of cooked meals at 65°C or above until serving.
4. Preparation and Ingredient Availability
All Head Masters shall estimate the tentative number of participants for the PTM and inform the cooking agency/NGO well in advance for proper meal preparation. Head Masters shall verify the availability of Fortified Fine Rice for the estimated number of participants. If any shortage is noticed, approach the DM, Civil Supplies through the District Educational Officer immediately. Verify the availability of all ingredients required for meal preparation, including: Eggs, Peanut Jaggery Chikki Other essential cooking materials Arrange for any missing ingredients in advance. Arrange required plates and glasses. NGO cooking agencies to ensure that hot cooked food reaches the school before lunchtime.
5. Documentation and registration
The Head Master shall enter the details of Number of participants attended, Number of meals served in the LEAP App (PTM Module) for the Mega PTM 3.1 on 24- 07- 2026.
6. Sanitation and Toilets Maintenance
Head Masters shall issue instructions to the concerned Ayahs under TMF for proper maintenance of school toilets.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to take all necessary steps to ensure the successful conduct of the Mega Parent- Teacher Meeting (Mega PTM 3.1) on 24- 07- 2026 by closely and continuously monitoring all necessary arrangements.
