It is informed that vide reference 6th cited, the Government issued memo for conducting the Mega Parent Teacher Meeting 2.O across the Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided schools and Junior Colleges in the state on 10th July 2025.
In this regard, it is informed that the Mega PTM held in 2024 was limited only to the Government schools and the total participants were around One crore whereas this time the Mega PTM 2.O will be held in all the Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided schools and Junior Colleges in the state. The number of participants estimated is 2.28 Crores.
In continuation to the circular proceedings vide reference 7th cited, issued on conducting the Mega Parent Teacher Meeting 2.O across the state, it is also informed to all the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators that the Government decided for Documentation of the Mega Parent Teacher Meeting 2.O in all the Government, Aided and Private Unaided schools in the state at large scale in a massive manner and also in a view to attract the attention of Guinness World Record.
In view of the above, all the Headmasters of Government, Aided and Private Unaided schools in the state need to identify one independent witness as observer to observe and coordinate the documentation.
The Mega PTM, which was successfully organized last year with everyone’s cooperation, is being held again with the same spirit on July 10, as Mega PTM 2.O this time with the aim of setting a Guinness World Record.
As per the guidelines provided by the Guinness World Records team, a responsible individual who is not a teacher, parent, or from the education department must be registered as a witness in the LEAP App during Mega PTM 2.0 registration. The witness can be a Sarpanch, MPTC member, retired government employee, donor or alumni any credible person from the school’s community. The witness entry in the LEAP App is mandatory only for the Guinness record attempt and the person giving the witness may not be a government employee. There is no other intent or hidden purpose behind this witness requirement.
All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators are requested to communicate the same to all the Mandal Educational Officers and Headmasters in their concerned districts and issue clarification in this regard.
