National Science Seminar 2025: Quantum Age Begins
Seminar Overview
The National Science Seminar 2025 is being organized by the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bangalore on the topic:
Quantum Age Begins: Potentials and Challenges
The main objective of the seminar is to inculcate scientific enquiry, analytical thinking, and communication skills among school students and provide them a platform to express scientific ideas effectively.

Guidelines for Participation
- Participants shall be selected only from Government Management High Schools.
- From each school, two (2) toppers shall be nominated for participation in the seminar at the Mandal Level.
- The communication shall be in English only.
- Each participant shall make a presentation for 6 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Question–Answer session with the judges.
- Each participant will be asked three questions and must answer any two within the time limit.
- Each participant may use a maximum of five (5) visuals only:
- Charts/Posters: Maximum size 850 mm × 600 mm, mounted in calendar style
- PowerPoint Slides: Static slides only (.ppt/.pptx/.ppsx)
- 3D models, animations, videos, and films in any form are strictly prohibited.

Financial Information
In the reference 2 read above, the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, A.P., has released an amount of Rs.15,000 per each district under Science Activities for organizing the seminars at district level.
The District level Science Seminar should be held on 10th October 2025 duly meeting the expenditure of Rs.15000/- for conducting the said activities from the available funds of District Project Offices, Samagra Shiksha and submit the UCs to the SPD, Samagra Shiksha duly extending a copy of the same to this office.
Instructions to Officials
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers are requested to disseminate the above instructions and guidelines to all Government Management High Schools and ensure conduct of the seminar as per schedule in a transparent and time-bound manner.
District Science Officers (DSOs) shall monitor these activities at School, Mandal and District levels, extend necessary support, and submit consolidated reports, photographs, and details of selected students to the DEO and SCERT,AP immediately after each level.
