Opening of PF Accounts to Teachers and Employees of ULBs in the State – Certain Instructions

Sub: MA&UD Dept., – Education – Opening of PF Accounts to Teachers and Employees of ULBs in the State – Certain Instructions Issued– Regarding.

The attention of the Commissioners of all the Urban Local Bodies in the State is invited to the references cited and it is informed that the DTA, Ibramhimpatnam has convened a meeting on 20.10.2020 at O/o the DTA, Ibrahimpatnam on opening of P.F Accounts to the Teachers and Employees working in Urban Local Bodies in the State appointed prior to 01-09-2004 and covered under 010 HOA salaries. During the said meeting, the committee has requested the MA & UD Dept., that;

•  To update the existing PF accounts of all the municipal employees and Municipal Teachers and also arrive the total amount of each without missing credits.
• To arrive at the individual PF balances along with accumulated interest and drawls such as Part fnal withdrawal and Temporary advance, recovered installments, loan etc.
• To certify the balance amount of every PF account of the employees and the teachers by the Commissioners concerned.

1. Further, it is informed that during the above meeting, the DTA authorities have informed that simultaneously with the above activity other modalities will be finalized at the State Level for opening of PF Accounts.
2. In this context, vide references 3rd & 8th cited, the Commissioners of all the ULBs in the State have been requested to bestow their personal attention and ensure all the PF Accounts of the Teachers and Employees working in Urban Local Bodies in the State, who were appointed prior to 01-09-2004 and covered under 010 HOA salary, should be updated as suggested by the DTA authorities and report compliance in the matter. But, no report was received by this ofce so far, even though repeated instructions issued by this office, in this regard.
3. Further, it is to inform that, in the references 4th to 7th, 9th &10th cited Sri Katti Narasimha Reddy, MLC, Kadapa, Anantapuram, Kurnool Teacher’s Constituency, certain Teachers Unions and Municipal Workers & Employees Unions have made representations with a request to take immediate action for opening of PF Accounts to the Teachers and Employees who are working in Urban Local Bodies in the State as early as possible.

Therefore, the Commissioners of all the ULBs in the State are once again requested to bestow their personal attention and ensure all the PF Accounts of the Teachers and Employees working in Urban Local Bodies in the State, who were appointed prior to 01-09-2004 and drawing their salaries under 010 HOA, should be update by 12.07.2021 as suggested by the DTA authorities duly following instructions issued vide references 3rd & 8th cited and furnish the said information in the attached format by 12.07.2021 to this office along with certificate attached to the format through the RDMAs concerned without fail.
5. Any deviations noticed, necessary action will be initiated against the concerned as per rules in force. Further, all the RDMAs in the State are once again requested to guide the Commissioners in their region in this regard and ensure the above directions are complied with by the Commissioners in the State without any deviation.
6. This shall be treated as TOP PRIORITY & MOST URGENT.
