Read the following:

In the G.O. (1^st read above), Government have issued orders declaring 20.3.2026 (Friday) as General Holiday on the occasion of Eid- Ul- Fitr (Ramzan).

2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Chief Executive Officer (FAC), Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board. Vijayawada, has submitted that the General Holiday for Eid- Ul- Fitr (Ramzan) is likely to be observed on 21-03-2026, based on the sighting of the moon, instead of 20-03-2026 as indicated in the Government Calendar and requested that the General Holiday for Eid- Ul- Fitr (Ramzan) be rescheduled to 21-03-2026 in place of 20-03-2026 and solicited favorable orders.

3. The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to change the General Holiday on the occasion of Eid- Ul- Fitr (Ramzan) on 21.03.2026 (Saturday) instead of 20.03.2026 (Friday). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh State:-
