SAT1MP/Summative Assessment-1 Examination Schedule

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational officers in the State are informed that the Self-Assessment Term -1 Modal Paper (SAT1MP)/Summative Assessment-1 examination tentative schedule is already issued in the Academic Calendar and the same was communicated earlier. Accordingly, the SAT1MP/ Summative Assessment-1 examination is scheduled to be conducted from 10.11.2025 to 19.11.2025.

Note:

1. For classes VIII, and IX, the Science exam will consist of two papers: PS and BS. Each paper for 40 marks that includes 10 MCQs, 3 short answer questions, 2 long answer questions, and 2 very long answer questions.

2. The examination pattern for class X is the same as that of the SSC public examination for 100 marks (PS and BS 50 marks each).

3. Syllabus: June to October syllabus as indicated in the academic calendar for 2025-26 for all classes and subjects. (Annexure enclosed)

Instructions to be followed

  • Question papers will be stored securely at the cluster complex for 1st to 5th classes and at MRC for 6th to 10th classes.
  • A three-men committee shall be constituted at the MRC level, comprising MEO-1, MEO-2, and a Headmaster, and at the Cluster Complex level, comprising the Cluster Complex Headmaster, a Cluster Senior School Assistant, and a Cluster Resource Person (RP). These committees will be responsible for preserving, securely storing, and distributing confidential materials as per guidelines. They will be the custodians of the preserved papers.
  • Question paper bundles will be handed over to the concerned schools only one hour prior to the commencement of the examination in each session.
  • School complex HM and MEOs must ensure the integrity of the question papers. They, along with Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs), should visit schools during examination hours to verify that the examinations are being conducted smoothly and fairly.
  • In case of any untoward incidents, School complex HMs, MEOs and CRPs should report immediately to higher officials.
  • MEOs and CRPs should focus on monitoring examination conduction procedures in both private and government-managed schools.
  • The evaluation of answer scripts must be completed by November 25, 2025.
  • The issuance of progress cards must be completed by November 30, 2025.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational officers are requested to take necessary action accordingly.

Any deviations found in procedure will be viewed seriously.
