  1. All the District Educational Officers& Ex-Ofcio Project Coordinators and all Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby informed that the Secretary, Ministry of Education, DoSE&L, Govt. of India has stated that the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has launched Vidyanjali 2.0 a school volunteer program on 7th September ,2021 during the inaugural conclave of Shikshak- Parv 2021 ,which aims to enhance the quality of school education through community and volunteer participation by allowing to connect directly with the Govt. and Govt. aided schools to share their knowledge and skills as well as contribute in the form of assets/ material/equipment and designed in line with the National Educational Policy -2020.
  2.  Further the Secretary, Ministry of Education, DoSE&L, Govt. of India, has informed that the schools having UDISE code and shall register on Vidyanjali 2.0 portal and post the required service /activity or assets/material/equipment on the Vidyanjali web portal. In this connection depending on the request raised by the school, a volunteer based on the interest may fully or partially contribute to the development of the schools.
  3.  The Vidyanjali 2.0 portal may be accessed at https://vidyanjali.education.gov.in, and a copy of guidelines for promoting community and voluntary participation for enhancing quality of school education needs to be communicated across the State.
  4. Further they are informed that the Economic Advisor ,DoSE&L has requested the state to refer the sections 5.1, 6.1 of the guidelines on Vidyanjali 2.0 to include inter-alia, safety guidelines, standards and specifications for contribution of assets /material/equipment in a specified financial limits.
  5.  In this regard the State has nominated the State Nodal officer and all the District Educational Officers are nominated as District nodal officers for Vidyanjali.2.0. The Secretary, Ministry of Education, DoSE&L has further recommended that the States should take the program forward
    and ensure its out reach through wide publicity enabling community and volunteers to contribute in the development of schools ‘ infrastructure and enhancement of quality of school education .
  6.  In this regard it is informed that for the implementation of the program was done on pilot basis with a special focus on aspirational districts by on boarding at least 100schools from each district. ( YSR Kadapa -Vizianagaram-,Visakhapatnam-). Later Vidyanjali 2.0 program is extended to all Government and Govt aided schools of the State.
  7. Therefore District Educational officers and Additional Project coordinators of Samagra Shiksha are requested to disseminate the above information and guidelines to all government and government aided schools of their respective districts for successful implementation of the Vidyanjali 2.0. They are informed that all the schools having UDISE code shall register on Vidyanjali 2.0 portal and post the required service /activity or assets/material/equipment on the Vidyanjali web portal and based on the request raised by the school, a volunteer may fully or partially contribute to the development of the school and Scholl heads requested to identify the volunteers for full or partial
    contribution to the Schools.
  8. In this regard State and District Nodal Officers may organize a meeting with al N.G.Os& Community to bring awareness on the Vidyanjali 2.0 programme by duly involving the societies like APNRT and industries with CSR and NRT funds for school requirement.
  9. In the view of the above a virtual meeting will be conducted on 1st June ,2022 for DEOs and APCs of Samagra Shiksha on Vidyanjali 2.0 implementation procedure. Zoom link will be communicated to all Districts through e mail.
