## Samagra Shiksha – Reconstitution of Parent Committees – Clarification

Sub : Samagra Shiksha – Reconstitution of Parent Committees – Clarification issued–

All the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed
that some of the APCs have requested certain clarifications on conducting parent
committee elections and the clarifications are as follows.

> Clarification sought : Can the Elections re-initiate the process from where they
> were stopped?
>  Example :- In a school having 5 classes, Elections were conducted
> for 1 class and members were also elected, can we continue the election process
> for the balance 4 classes and also for the posts of Chiarman & Vice­Chairman, 
> where the election was stopped.
> Clarification :
> In this case, Parent Committee elections have to be conducted for the remaining
> classes only for which the members were not elected.
>  Chairman and Vice Chairman
> elections to be conducted after completion of elections to all the classes.

Hence all the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators 
of Samagra Shiksha in the State are instructed to follow the above clarification
in conducting the Parent Committee elections.
