The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational Officers in the state are invited to the reference 2nd read above, wherein under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Education has informed that on behalf of Amrithamahotsav celebrations, 75th anniversary of Independence Day, the National Yogasanasports Federation has decided to run a project of 750 million Surya Namaskar in 30 states, involving 30,000 institutes and 3 lakh students. For this a programme starting from 1st January, 2022 to 7th Feb, 2022 is planned. A musical performance on Surya Namaskar is also planned on 26th January, 2022.
Therefore, All the Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers in the state are instructed to conduct the Surya Namaskar Programme which will be starting from 1st January, 2022 to 7th Feb, 2022 in all the schools under their jurisdiction.
