The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state is invited to the references read above and they are informed that in the ref. 2nd read above, the AMOs and AAMOs of A.P.Model Schools O/o the DSE,A.P have conducted certain Surprise visits and the School wise Review Meetings in A.P.Model Schools of the State. It is resolved to take up the undermentioned measures to achieve 100% results in AP Model Schools to achieve the motto “AP Model Schools as the Centres of Excellence in Education” in true spirit.
Instructions:
- All the staff working in AP Model Schools should mark their attendance at or before 8.45 AM.
- Ensure 100% student attendance. Phone calls to absentees on daily basis and home visits for more than 3 days’ absence should be made mandatory.
- 6th to 12th – syllabus completion to be done as per Academic Calendars of SCERT, AP & BIE, AP.
- Daily tests to be conducted for 10th and Intermediate students, and marks register to be maintained by subject teachers and monitored by the Principal concerned fortnightly.
- Notes to be given and corrected for all classes from 6th to Intermediate.
- NMMS classes and remedial teaching have to be conducted with proper time table.
- Online NEET/JEE/EAPCET classes are to be conducted in all schools but, it is noticed that offline classes are not implemented in many schools. All schools should conduct offline NEET/JEE/EAPCET classes for both first and second inter as per BIEAP guidelines.
- Every teacher should be entrusted with the minimum work load of 36 teaching periods per week. For the PGTs with less work load, the Principal should entrust the teaching classes of NMMS / Remedial / IIT/NEET / any other classes as per need.
- Every Teacher should maintain the Slow learners Monitoring Register.
- Weekly progress of slow learners should be monitored by the Principal.
- Daily Supervised Study Hours should be conducted to 10th Class and Intermediate Classes in the morning from 08.00am to 09.00am and evening from 04.00pm to 05.00pm.
Therefore, the RJDSEs and DEOs in the state are requested to issue necessary instructions to all Principals of A.P Model Schools in the State for academic excellence and to achieve good results in the SSC & IPE Public Examinations March 2026.
These instructions should be followed scrupulously as the measures will be monitored and reviewed through offline / online regularly. Deviation to these instructions will be viewed seriously.
