కేబుల్, డీటీహెచ్ యూజర్లకు శుభవార్త.
మీరు చూడాలనుకున్న ఛానెల్స్ సెలెక్ట్ చేసి బిల్లు తగ్గించుకోవడం కోసం ట్రాయ్ కొత్త యాప్ విడుదల చేసింది.
The App offers the functionality via which consumers can view their DPO’s offerings, fetch the existing subscription details, choose & optimize channel and Bouquet selection, modify existing selection and set selection with respective DPOs.
The App will suggest an optimum configuration i.e. combination of Channels/Bouquet based on consumer’s selection so as to reduce total monthly bill. In addition, will suggest combination of Channels/Bouquet based on consumer’s interest keeping in view geographical, regional, language, genres, etc. preferences.
Initially consumers of the following DPOs shall be able to avail of the services :-
Airtel
Asianet
InDigital
Dish TV
D2H
Hathway Digital
మీరు కేబుల్ టీవీ కనెక్షన్ తీసుకున్నారా? డీటీహెచ్ వాడుతున్నారా? మీరు కేబుల్, డీటీహెచ్ బిల్లుల్ని తగ్గించుకోవచ్చు. ఇందుకోసం టెలికామ్ రెగ్యులేటరీ అథారిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా-TRAI కొత్తగా ఓ యాప్ లాంఛ్ చేసింది. ఆండ్రాయిడ్, ఐఓఎస్ యూజర్లు స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్‌లో ఈ యాప్ ఉపయోగించుకోవచ్చు. మీరు మీ కేబుల్ టీవీ లేదా డీటీహెచ్‌లో చూడాలనుకుంటున్న ఛానెళ్లు మాత్రమే సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకుంటే ఎంత బిల్ అవుతుందో సులువుగా తెలుసుకోవచ్చు. టాటాస్కై, ఎయిర్‌టెల్ డిజిటల్ టీవీ, డిష్‌టీవీ, డీ2హెచ్, హాత్‌వే డిజిటల్, సిటీ నెట్వర్క్‌, ఏషియానెట్, ఇన్‌డిజిటల్ లాంటి డీటీహెచ్ ఆపరేటర్లు, కేబుల్ టీవీ ఎంఎస్‌ఓలకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని వివరాలు ఉంటాయి. ట్రాయ్ ఛానెల్ సెలక్టర్ యాప్ ఆండ్రాయిడ్ ఫోన్ యూజర్లకు గూగుల్ ప్లే స్టోర్‌లో, యాపిల్ ఐఫోన్ యూజర్లకు యాప్ స్టోర్‌లో అందుబాటులో ఉంది.
మీరు యాప్ ఓపెన్ చేసిన తర్వాత మీ కేబుల్ లేదా డీటీహెచ్ ఆపరేటర్‌ను సెలెక్ట్ చేయాలి.
మీ సబ్‌స్క్రిప్షన్ ఐడీ, మొబైల్ నెంబర్ ఎంటర్ చేయాలి.
మీ మొబైల్ నెంబర్‌కు ఓటీపీ వస్తుంది. ఓటీపీ ఎంటర్ చేసి వెరిఫై చేయాలి. ఆ తర్వాత మీ కేబుల్ టీవీ, డీటీహెచ్ ఛానెల్ ప్యాక్స్‌ను మాడిఫై చేయొచ్చు.
ప్రస్తుత సబ్‌స్క్రిప్షన్‌కు సంబంధించిన వివరాలు కూడా ఉంటాయి.
ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న ఛానెళ్ల జాబితాలో మరిన్ని ఛానెల్స్ యాడ్ చేయొచ్చు.
As per TRAI’s new regulation for the Television and Broadcasting Sector having come into force, Consumers have the freedom to select Television (TV) Channels they wish to watch.
TRAI envisions a scalable model in which consumers can securely communicate with the platforms managed by their DTH/Cable Operators. The Channel Selector application will facilitate customers to choose channels/bouquets of their interest among the offerings provided by their respective DTH/Cable Operators.
Channel Selector application will suggest an optimum configuration of bouquets based on channels desired by the subscriber so as to reduce total monthly bill.
Hence, the Channel Selector Application shall be a common app to support customers for fetching current subscriptions from their DTH/Cable operator, provide options of selection of channels/bouquets, optimize their channel selection, and set customer subscription of their choice on their DTH/Cable operator’s platform.
Some DTH/Cable operators who are yet to onboard are not available. As soon as these DTH/Cable operators are ready to integrate with the app shall be available.
