SUMMER BREAK ACTIVITIES – GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

• Class teachers have to create Whats app groups with their class students.
• Ask them to maintain a notebook for summer activities and submit at the time of reopening.
• Keep in touch with the students and encourage them from time to time to monitor their activities.
• Gather students activities in the form of pics/videos/reports through Whats app group

• Music, Dance and Drama :

Select a music/dance/drama of their own culture or local tradition where a group of people (Peer/siblings/other family members) come together to develop the child’s aesthetic sense. Example: Folk or traditional songs/dance can be recorded from their area using some musical instruments involving their siblings, friends and family members.

Cunning Fox Story/దురాశ నక్క:

గోపాల పురానికి చెందిన కొంత మంది పిల్లలు పక్కనున్న అడవికి ఆవులను మేపడానికి వెళ్లేవారు మధ్యాహ్నం అక్కడే భోజనం కోసం

సద్ది మూట తీసుకు పోయే వారు సాయంత్రానికి ఆవుల తో ఇంటికి వచ్చేవారు. ఆ అడవిలో పెద్ద మర్రిచెట్టు ఉండేది ఆ చెట్టు తొర్రలో తమ ఆహారాన్ని దాచుకునేవారు పిల్లలు.

ఆకలేసినప్పుడు వచ్చి ఆహారాన్ని అందరూ పంచుకుని తినేవారు. ఒకరోజు ఒక నక్క కి బాగా ఆకలి వేసింది ఆహారాన్ని వెతుక్కుంటూ మర్రిచెట్టు దగ్గరికి వచ్చింది.

తొర్ర లోంచి గుమ గుమ వాసనలు నక్క ముక్కు తాకాయి ఇంకేముంది, పుట్టలోకి దూరింది ఆహారాన్ని తిన సాగింది.

ఆకలి తీరిన ఆగకుండా అత్యాశ కొద్దీ నలుగురికి సరిపడా ఆహారాన్ని తనే తినేసింది. నక్క పొట్ట బనాల తయారైంది.

తొర్ర లోంచి బయటకు వద్దామని ఎంత ప్రయత్నించినా మెడ వరకు మాత్రమే బయట పెట్టగలిగింది బాణా లాంటి పొట్ట త్వరలో ఈ యొక్క పోయింది.

ఆహారమంతా అడిగి పుట్ట తగ్గితే గానీ బయటకు రాలేనని అర్థమైంది నక్కకి ఇంతలో పిల్లలు, ఆకలేసీ భోజనం తిందామని మర్రిచెట్టు దగ్గరకు వచ్చారు.

తొర్రలో నక్కను చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపోయారు వాడికి విషయం అర్థమైంది. నలుగురు పిల్లలు కలిసి నక్క ను బయటకు లాగి నాలుగు దెబ్బలు తగిలించారు.

అత్యాశతో కోరి కష్టాలు తెచ్చుకున్నాను అనుకుంది నక్క.

Count Wisely

One day, king Akbar asked a question in his court that left everyone in the courtroom puzzled. As they all tried to figure out the answer, Birbal walked in and asked what the matter was. They repeated the question to him.

The question was, “How many crows are there in the city?”

Birbal immediately smiled and went up to Akbar. He announced the answer; he said there were twenty-one thousand, five hundred and twenty-three crows in the city. When asked how he knew the answer, Birbal replied, “Ask your men to count the number of crows. If there are more, then the relatives of the crows must be visiting them from nearby cities. If there are fewer, then the crows from our city must be visiting their relatives who live outside the city.” Pleased with the answer, Akbar presented Birbal with a ruby and pearl chain.

Moral of the Story : Having an explanation for your answer is just as important as having an answer.

కృత్రిమ వర్షాలను ఎలా కురిపిస్తారు?

సకాలంలో వర్షాలు రాకపోయిన, వర్షపాతం తగ్గిన మనిషి అనేక కష్టాలు ఎదుర్కోవలసి వస్తుంది. తాగునీటికి, సాగునీటికి ఇబ్బందులెదురవుతాయి. ఈ పరిస్థితిని అధిగమించడానికి కృత్రిమ వర్షాలు కురిపించే పద్ధతిని శాస్త్రజ్ఞులు కనుగొనటం ప్రజానీకానికి ఎంతో సంతోషదాయకమైన విషయం. ఎప్పుడు పడితే అప్పుడు, ఎక్కడపడితే అక్కడ కృత్రిమ వర్షాలు కురిపించటం సాధ్యం కాదు. అది చాలా కష్టతరమైన పని. కృత్రిమ వర్షాలు కురిపించడానికి అనువుగా తేమతో కూడిన వర్షాలకు అనువైన మేఘాలు గాలి లో ఉన్నప్పుడు విమానాల ద్వారా పొగమంచు ముక్కలను కానీ, అంగారక ఆమ్ల వాయుతో కలిపి సీ చేసినప్పుడు గాలిలో తేమ శాతం పెరిగి నీటి ఆవిరి ద్రవీకరించి వర్షం గా మారుతుంది. దీనిని Cloud Seeding అంటారు. ఈ పద్ధతి ద్వారా కాకుండా ఎత్తైన భూభాగం లేదా కొండలపై నుండి, అనువైన తమ బిందువులకు కృత్రిమ కేంద్రకాలు ఏర్పడేటట్లు చేయడం ద్వారా వర్షాలు కురిపించడాన్ని Ground Seeding అంటారు. మనదేశంలో కృత్రిమ వర్షాలు అంత ప్రాచుర్యానికి నోచుకోలేదు. కారణం అవి చాలా వ్యయప్రయాసలతో కూడుకున్నవి. పైగా ఎంతో ఖర్చుతో కూడుకున్న పని. అందుకే కృత్రిమ వర్షం అందని మానుపండు.

భద్రతా చిట్కాలు:

• మీరు కొత్తగా స్థలాలు సందర్శించినప్పుడల్లా మీ తల్లిదండ్రులు/పెద్దలతో పాటు వెళ్లండి
• ఎక్కువ నీరు త్రాగడం, పత్తి బట్టలు ధరించడం వంటి సరైన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోండి , జంక్ ఫుడ్, శీతల పానీయాలు మొదలైన వాటికి దూరంగా ఉండాలి.
• సమాచారాన్ని సేకరించడానికి ఇంటర్నెట్ ఉపయోగించేటప్పుడు మీరు మీ తల్లిదండ్రుల అనుమతిని పొందాలి.
• ముఖ్యంగా పీక్ అవర్స్‌లో వేడి ఎండలో బయటకు వెళ్లడం మానుకోండి.
• తేలికైన భోజనం మరియు నీరు వంటి నీటి శాతం అధికంగా ఉండే పండ్లను తినండి . పుచ్చకాయలు, దోసకాయలు, సిట్రస్ పండ్లు మొదలైనవి.
• తరచుగా విరామాలలో తగినంత నీరు త్రాగండి మరియు ప్రయాణంలో నీరు త్రాగడానికి తీసుకువెళ్లండి
