SUMMER BREAK ACTIVITIES – GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

• Class teachers have to create Whats app groups with their class students.
• Ask them to maintain a notebook for summer activities and submit at the time of reopening.
• Keep in touch with the students and encourage them from time to time to monitor their activities.
• Gather students activities in the form of pics/videos/reports through Whats app group

• Music, Dance and Drama :

Select a music/dance/drama of their own culture or local tradition where a group of people (Peer/siblings/other family members) come together to develop the child’s aesthetic sense. Example: Folk or traditional songs/dance can be recorded from their area using some musical instruments involving their siblings, friends and family members.

What is an optical illusion?

Optical illusions are visuals that tend to be deceptive to the eye and brain. This is based on numerous factors including varying colors, patterns, lights, and more! When looking at these images what we see gets sent to our brains, and a false perception is created as the image our brain processes isn’t actually what is in front of us. Different people will often see these illusions differently which is completely normal since everyone’s brain works in different ways—talk about perspective!

గ్రామంలో రవి, కిషన్ అనే ఇద్దరు స్నేహితులు ఉండేవారు. ఒకరోజు ఇద్దరూ దగ్గర్లోని ఊరికి వెళ్తుంటే దారిలో ఒక అడవి పడి ఉంది. అడవి గుండా వెళుతున్నప్పుడు రవికి చాలా దాహం వేస్తుంది.

అప్పుడు కిషన్ అక్కడ ఒక చెరువును చూస్తాడు, అక్కడ స్నేహితులిద్దరూ నీరు త్రాగడానికి వెళతారు. చెరువు దగ్గరకు చేరుకోగానే చెరువులోపల నుంచి నీళ్లు తాగడం మొదలుపెడితే పెద్ద మొసలి అక్కడికి వస్తుంది.

ఆ మొసలిని చూసి రవి కిషన్ ఇద్దరూ చాలా భయపడి అక్కడి నుండి పారిపోవడానికి సిద్ధపడతారు, అప్పుడు ఆ మొసలి అందమైన దేవకన్యలా మారుతుంది.

అప్పుడు ఆ అందమైన దేవకన్య వారితో ఇలా చెబుతుంది – ఇది నా చెరువు మరియు నేను తప్ప మరెవ్వరూ ఇక్కడి నుండి నీరు త్రాగలేరు.

కానీ మీకు దాహం ఎక్కువ అని నేను భావిస్తున్నాను కాబట్టి మీరు నా ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానం ఇస్తే, నా చెరువులోని నీరు త్రాగడానికి నేను మిమ్మల్ని అనుమతిస్తాను.

WE LOVE READING SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2024- TODAY ENGLISH  MORAL STORY :   The Lion and Mouse Story

Once upon a time, a mighty lion lived in a forest. Because of his anger and strength, he was famous all over the forest. All the animals of the forest respected and feared him.

One day when the lion was resting under a tree, a small mouse crawled over its paws. The lion wakes up and catches the mouse in his big paw.

The mouse says, “Lion sir, please have mercy on me. I have made a mistake. It happened unknowingly. I had no intention to disturb your rest.”

With a smile, the lion stared at the mouse and asked, “Why would I need a small animal like you?” You are just a small snack for me.”

The mouse begged, saying, “If you spare my life, I will help you someday. Please give me a chance.”

Seeing the pleading of the mouse, the lion takes pity on it and decides to leave it alive. The lion raises its big paw, and the mouse runs away as fast as possible.

Months pass by, and the lion soon forgets about the mouse. One day when the lion was roaming in the jungle, he got trapped in a hunter’s net. He tries to fight and scream, but the tighter the net gets on him, the more he moves.

The news of the lion getting trapped reaches all the animals in the forest. All of them were afraid of the lion but also felt sorry for its suffering. The mouse thinks of helping the lion and reaches the place where the lion is trapped.

The mouse says, “Don’t worry, lion. I will help you.”

The lion moaned in pain and said, “How will you save me, little mouse? Please don’t put your life in danger and get out of here.”

But the mouse was also stubborn. He wanted to help the lion at any cost. With all his power, he starts cutting the thread of the hunter’s net. The lion sees hope in the mouse and stops fighting and roaring.

The mouse starts doing its work without getting tired until the thread of the trap breaks and frees the lion. After some time, the lion gets free from that trap.

The lion tells the mouse, “Dear mouse, I underestimated you. Please forgive me for all the bad things I said to you. Thank you so much for saving my life. I promise that from today on wards, I will become a good king of this jungle.

The mouse smiled and said, “Sir, we may be different in size and strength, but everyone has the power to make a change, no matter how small. Kindness and love can overcome any obstacle.” Remember that your kindness has brought us together today.”

The lion nodded after understanding the words of the mouse. From that day on wards, the lion and the mouse became good friends. The lion understood the value of all animals, no matter how small in size. Even though the mouse was small, it was admired and respected by all the animals for its bravery and kind behavior.

Moral of the Story:  “Even small good deeds never go waste. We should never underestimate the potential of other people because there is something different in everyone.”
