SUMMER BREAK ACTIVITIES – GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

• Class teachers have to create Whats app groups with their class students.
• Ask them to maintain a notebook for summer activities and submit at the time of reopening.
• Keep in touch with the students and encourage them from time to time to monitor their activities.
• Gather students activities in the form of pics/videos/reports through Whats app group

• Music, Dance and Drama :

Select a music/dance/drama of their own culture or local tradition where a group of people (Peer/siblings/other family members) come together to develop the child’s aesthetic sense. Example: Folk or traditional songs/dance can be recorded from their area using some musical instruments involving their siblings, friends and family members.

పొట్ట ముత్తయ్య, పొడువు కనకయ్య మంచి స్నేహితులు. చిన్న చిన్న పనులవలన కుటుంబ పోషణ కష్టం అవుతుంది. కావున ఏదైనా స్థిరమైన ఆదాయం వచ్చేటట్టు మార్గము చూపమని ఊరి పెద్ద ఈశ్వరయ్య దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళారు ఇద్దరు. మీరు ఇద్దరు మంచి స్నేహితులు కదా! ఏదైనా వ్యాపారం చేసుకోండీ. కావాలంటే పెట్టుబడికి డబ్బు అప్పుగా ఇస్తాను అన్నాడు ఈశ్వరయ్య.

సరే అంటూ ఈశ్వరయ్య దగ్గర అప్పుచేసి కిరాణ దుకాణం పెట్టారు. గల్లాపెట్ట దగ్గర ముత్తయ్య కూర్చుంటే, కొనడానికి వచ్చేవారికి సరుకులు ఇచ్చే బాద్యత కనకయ్యదిగా ఒప్పుకున్నారు. కొన్నిరోజులలోనే ఈశ్వరయ్య అప్పు తీర్చేశారు. తక్కువ సమయంలో వారి వ్యాపారం బాగా అబివృద్ది చెందడంతో ఎదురుగా ఉన్న దుకాణదారుడు చంద్రయ్యకు అసూయ కలిగింది. ఎలాగైనా స్నేహితుల మద్య గొడవ పెట్టి వ్యాపారాన్ని దెబ్బ తీయాలనుకున్నాడు.

ఒక రోజు ముత్తయ్య దుకాణంలో లేని సమయం చూసి కనకయ్యతో “ నువ్వు రోజంతా నిలబడి పొట్లాలు కట్టివ్వాలి, ముత్తయ్య మాత్రం చక్కగా కూర్చొని డబ్బులు వసూలు చేస్తాడు అంటూ కల్పించి చెప్పాడు చంద్రయ్య. మరునాటి నుండి కనకయ్య, ముత్తయ్యతో పోట్లాడి గల్లాపెట్ట వద్ద కూర్చున్నాడు. పాపం ముత్తయ్యకు అల్మారాలో (సెల్ఫ్) సరుకు అందక కింద పడుతున్నాయి, డబ్బులు తీసుకొని చిల్లర ఇవ్వడానికి గాబరా పడి లెక్కలో తప్పులు జరిగాయ. దీంతో వారి దుకాణానికి వచ్చేవారి సంఖ్య తగ్గిపోయింది. కొన్ని రోజులకు దుకాణం మూతపడే పరిస్తితి వచ్చింది. ఈ విషయం తెలుసుకున్న ఈశ్వరయ్య ఆ ఇద్దరి స్నేహితులను పిలిపించాడు. మీలో భేదాలు రావడానికి కారణం ఏమిటి అని అడిగాడు. కనకయ్యతో, చంద్రయ్య చెప్పిన మాటలు చెప్పాడు. “అసూయతో చంద్రయ్య చెప్పిన మాటలు విని మీ వ్యాపారాన్ని చెడగొట్టుకున్నారు. అలా కాకుండా ఎప్పటిలాగే ఎవరి పని వాళ్ళు నిజాయితీగా చేసుకొండి. ఇతరుల మాటలని వినకండి అని బెదిరించి పంపాడు ఈశ్వరయ్య. స్నేహితులు ఇద్దరు తమ తప్పును తెలుసుకొని ఎప్పటిలాగే ఎవరి పని వారు చేసుకుంటున్నారు. దుకాణం మంచి లాబాలతో నడుస్తుంది.

నీతి : ఎవరు ఏమి చెప్పినా ఆలోచించకుండా వినకూడదు.

WE LOVE READING SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2024- TODAY ENGLISH MORAL STORY : The Boy Who Cried Wolf

A boy and his father lived in a village. While the sheep grazed in the fields, the boy’s father instructed him to keep an eye on them. He had to take the sheep to the grassy fields every day. The boy, on the other hand, was dissatisfied and wanted to run and play. He decided to have a good time. “Wolf! Wolf!” he yelled, and the entire village came storming with stones to chase the wolf away before it could eat any of the sheep.

The villagers went muttering under their breath about how the boy had wasted their time when they discovered there was no wolf. The boy shouted out again the next day, “Wolf! Wolf!” and the villagers hurried over to chase the wolf away.

The villagers walked away enraged this time. On the third day, as the boy climbed the tiny hill, he came face to face with a wolf attacking his sheep. “Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!” he screamed as loudly as he could, yet not a single person came to his aid. The villagers assumed he was trying to trick them once more and did not come. That day, the small boy lost a lot of sheep due to his folly.

Moral of the story: Always be truthful, you never know what lies may lead to.

WE LOVE READING SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2024- : ఎందుకు? ఎలా ? ఏమిటి? :: అర్జున అర్జున అంటే పడే పిడుగు ఆగుతుందా?

1. అర్జున అర్జున అంటే పడే పిడుగు ఆగుతుందా?

జ: రుతుపవనాల ప్రారంచ కాలంలో మేఘాల కదలిక ఎక్కువగా ఉన్నప్పుడు సాధారణంగా కనిపించే దృశ్యం ఉరుములు మెరుపులు. ఈ ఉరుములు ఒక్కొక్కసారి అతి తీవ్రమైన శబ్దం చేసినప్పుడు సాధారణంగా పిడుగు పడిందని, ఆ పిడుగు పడే సమయంలో గడపల పై నిలబడ కూడదని, ‘అర్జున అర్జున’ అంటే వారిపై పిడుగు పడదనే నమ్మకం అమలులో ఉన్నది. ఇది ఎంతవరకు నిజం?

అసలు పిడుగు అంటే ఏమిటి ఒక్క క్షణం అలోచించండి. మేఘాలు దుమ్ము, ధూళి నీటి ఆవిరితో నిండి ఉంటాయి. ఇవి ఒకదానిని మరొకటి ఢీకొన్నప్పుడు ఘర్షణ వల్ల విద్యుత్ జనిస్తుంది. ఆ విద్యుత్తు ఉత్తీర్ణం జరిగినప్పుడు చుట్టుపక్కల గాలి వేడెక్కి వ్యాకోచిస్తుంది. ఆ వేడి గాలి చల్లటి గాలిని బలంగా తాకడం. వలన ఉరిమిన శబ్దం వినిపిస్తుంది. అదే సమయంలో ఆ విద్యుత్ భూమిపైన అలా మొన దేరిన కొనలు లేదా ఎతైన ప్రదేశాలపై త్యజించ బడుతుంది. దీనిని పిడుగు అంటారు అంతేగాని పై నుంచి ఇనుప వస్తువు గాని, ఏ ఇతర లోహపు మేకు, ఘన పదార్థాలు పడవు. ఈ పిడుగు పాటును నివారించడానికి ఎత్తయిన భవనాలపై లైటనింగ్ కండక్టర్ని ఉంచుతారు.

పిడుగు పడే సమయాలలో బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాలలో ఉన్నచో భూమికి సమాంతరంగా పడుకోవాలి, గొడుగు లేదా మరే ఇతర ఇనుప వస్తువును పట్టుకొని చెట్ల కింద కానీ, బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాలలో కానీ ఉరుములు మెరుపులు ఉన్న సమయాలలో తిరగకూడదు, సాధారణంగా మెరుపు కనిపించిన కొన్ని సెకండ్ల తరువాత ఉరిమిన శబ్దం వినిపిస్తుంది. దానికి కారణం గాలిలో శబ్దవేగం కన్నా కాంతి వేగం చాలా ఎక్కువ.

భద్రతా చిట్కాలు:
• మీరు కొత్తగా స్థలాలు సందర్శించినప్పుడల్లా మీ తల్లిదండ్రులు/పెద్దలతో పాటు వెళ్లండి
• ఎక్కువ నీరు త్రాగడం, పత్తి బట్టలు ధరించడం వంటి సరైన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోండి , జంక్ ఫుడ్, శీతల పానీయాలు మొదలైన వాటికి దూరంగా ఉండాలి.
• సమాచారాన్ని సేకరించడానికి ఇంటర్నెట్ ఉపయోగించేటప్పుడు మీరు మీ తల్లిదండ్రుల అనుమతిని పొందాలి.
• ముఖ్యంగా పీక్ అవర్స్‌లో వేడి ఎండలో బయటకు వెళ్లడం మానుకోండి.
• తేలికైన భోజనం మరియు నీరు వంటి నీటి శాతం అధికంగా ఉండే పండ్లను తినండి . పుచ్చకాయలు, దోసకాయలు, సిట్రస్ పండ్లు మొదలైనవి.
• తరచుగా విరామాలలో తగినంత నీరు త్రాగండి మరియు ప్రయాణంలో నీరు త్రాగడానికి తీసుకువెళ్లండి
• తల్లిదండ్రులు పిల్లలను ఒంటరిగా బైక్‌లు లేదా మోటారు వాహనాలు నడపడానికి అనుమతించకూడదు
• జంతువులను నీడలో ఉంచండి మరియు వాటికి తగినంత నీరు ఇవ్వండి, త్రాగండి. వేసవి దృష్ట్యా సరైన ఆరోగ్య చిట్కాలు/నియమాలను పాటించండి
•ట్యాంకులు, బావులు మరియు ఇతర నీటి వనరుల దగ్గరకు పిల్లలతో పాటు తల్లిదండ్రులు లేదా పెద్దలు ఉండాలి
