Implementation of LIP in remaining 16 districts – Instructions to the DEOs in the State

The District Educational Officers of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema, East Godavari, Kakinada, Eluru, West Godavari, NTR, Krishna, Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla, Prakasham, Nellore, Kurnool, Nandyala, Chittoor and Tirupati are informed that Learning Improvement Programme (LIP) is unique qualitative program to address the huge learning gaps in the foundational aspects of literacy and numeracy and as well as subject specific and class specific competencies and learning outcomes in the students studying classes 6th to 8th with the support of CIPS, UNICEF and Save the Children.

At present LIP is being implemented in the 10 districts and the CIPS has informed that beneficiary inputs were observed in the students of 10 districts and it is proposed to extend the programme in the remaining 16 districts.
Therefore, the District educational Officers of above mentioned districts are requested to issue necessary instructions to the concerned to follow the calendar of events for the year 2024-25 (attached) for effective implementation of the LIP Programme and to cooperate with the representatives of CIPS, UNICEF and Save the Children for effective implementation of the programme.
