AP RGUKT IIIT Admissions 2023 Important Dates

ఏపి ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీల్లో ప్రవేశాలకు ప్రకటన 2023 జూన్ 3న విడుదల.

023-24 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి RGUKT అడ్మిషన్ నోటిఫికేషన్ 03-06-2023న విడుదల చేయబడుతుంది మరియు అభ్యర్థులు 04-06-2023 నుండి 26-6-2023 వరకు ఏదైనా AP ఆన్లైన్ కేంద్రాల ద్వారా ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తులను పూరించడం ద్వారా అడ్మిషన్ కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. స్పెషల్ కేటగిరీ (PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Barat Scouts) సర్టిఫికెట్ వెరిఫికేషన్ జూలై 5 నుండి జూలై 9 వరకు నూజివీడు క్యాంపస్లో జరుగుతుంది. తాత్కాలికంగా ఫలితాలు 13 జూలై 2023న ప్రకటించబడతాయి మరియు సర్టిఫికెట్ వెరిఫికేషన్ జూలై 3వ వారంలో చేపట్టబడుతుంది. మరియు తరగతులు ఆగస్టు 1వ వారంలో ప్రారంభమవుతాయి. ఎంపిక జాబితా విడుదల తేదీ మరియు కౌన్సెలింగ్ తేదీలతో సహా వివరణాత్మక నోటిఫికేషన్ యూనివర్సిటీ వెబ్సైట్ www.rgukt.in లో ఉంచబడింది.

GO Ms. NO.43, 19-08-2021 నాటి ఉన్నత విద్య (EC) శాఖ ప్రకారం, ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో చదివిన విద్యార్థులకు డిఫ్రీవేషన్ స్కోర్ జోడించబడుతుంది మరియు ప్రతి సంవత్సరం RGUKT యొక్క పాలక మండలి ద్వారా డిప్లివేషన్ స్కోర్ ప్రవేశ నోటిఫికేషన్కు ముందు నిర్ణయించబడుతుంది.

2020-21 నుండి 2021-22 వరకు రెండు సంవత్సరాల పాటు, కోవిడ్-19 కారణంగా 10వ పరీక్షలను నిర్వహించలేని కారణంగా RGUKT అడ్మిషన్ల కోసం సాధారణ ప్రవేశ పరీక్షను నిర్వహించింది. 2022-23 విద్యాసంవత్సరానికి, గవర్నింగ్ కౌన్సిల్ సిఫారసు మేరకు ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో చదివిన విద్యార్థులకు 4% డిప్రవేషన్ జోడించి 10వ తరగతి మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా అడ్మిషన్లు జరిగాయి.

25-5-2023 తేదీన,63వ గవర్నింగ్ కౌన్సిల్ సమావేశంలో, 10వ తరగతి పరీక్షలో ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో చదివిన అభ్యర్ధులకు 4% మార్పుల డిపివేషన్ జోడించాలని తీర్మానించారు.

మొత్తం నాలుగు క్యాంపస్లలో 4000 సీట్లు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి (ప్రతి క్యాంపస్క 1000) మరియు EWS అభ్యర్థులకు 400 (10%) (ప్రతి క్యాంపెస్కు 100) అదనపు సూపర్ న్యూమరీ సీట్లు ఉన్నాయి. ఇందులో 85% సీట్లు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అభ్యర్థులకు మరియు -15% ఓపెన్ మెరిట్ (ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మరియు తెలంగాణ రెండింటికీ) రిజర్వ్ చేయబడ్డాయి.

ఎంపిక AP రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ నిబంధనల ప్రకారం రిజర్వేషన్ నియమావళిని అనుసరించి 10వ తరగతి మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా చేయబడుతుంది. మెరిట్ మరియు కేటగిరీలో టై అయినట్లయితే, దిగువ పేర్కొన్న విధంగా వరుస క్రమంలో ఎంపిక చేయబడుతుంది.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మరియు తెలంగాణ కాకుండా ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల అభ్యర్థులకు 5% సూపర్ న్యూమరీ సీట్లు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి. అటువంటి అభ్యర్థులకు ట్యూషన్ ఫీజు సంవత్సరానికి Rs.1,50,000/-

రెండేళ్ల PUC ప్రోగ్రామ్ తర్వాత విద్యార్థులకు ఎగ్జిట్ ఆప్షన్ అందుబాటులో ఉంది. RGUKT మార్గదర్శకాల ప్రకారం అన్ని విద్యా అవసరాలు సంతృప్తి చెందిన తర్వాత మాత్రమే వారు ఎక్కడైనా చేరగలరు. RGUKT మల్టీడిసిప్లినరీ విధానాన్ని అనుసరిస్తుంది. కాబట్టి, PUC ప్రోగ్రామ్లో ప్రాథమిక జీవశాస్త్రం తప్పనిసరి, జీవశాస్త్రంలో ఉత్తీర్ణత తప్పనిసరి అయినప్పటికీ

జీవశాస్త్రంలో గ్రిడలు బ్రాంచ్ కేటాయింపులకు లేదా CGPAకి చేరుకోవడానికి ఉపయోగించబడవు. ఏపీ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ నిబంధనల ప్రకారం రూల్ ఆఫ్ రిజర్వేషన్లను అనుసరించి PUCలో మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా ఇంజనీరింగ్ బ్రాంచులు కెటాయించబడతాయి.

జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం (2020) దృష్ట్యా, RGUKT ఆరు సంవత్సరాల ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ B.Tech ప్రోగ్రాము మాడ్యులరైజ్ చేసింది మరియు B.Tech మొదటి సంవత్సరం పూర్తి చేసిన తర్వాత 40 డిటెలతో ఒక సర్టిఫికేట్ (నిర్ణయించవలసిన సర్టిఫికట్ యొక్క శీర్షిక)ని అందజేస్తుంది; నాలుగు సంవత్సరాల B. Tech. తర్వాత డిగ్రీని అందించడమే కాకుండా 80 క్రెడిట్లతో B.Tech 2వ సంవత్సరం పూర్తి చేసిన తర్వాత సంబంధిత ఇంజనీరింగ్ బ్రాంచ్ డిప్లొమాను అందజేస్తుంది. ఇంకా RGUKT అదనంగా 20 క్రెడిట్లతో B.Tech ఆనర్స్/మైనర్ డిగ్రీ (గ్రూపింగ్ కోర్సుల తర్వాత) అందించాలని యోచిస్తోంది.

అభ్యర్ధులు తమ క్యాంపస్ ప్రాధాన్యతలను జాగ్రత్తగా ఇవ్వాలని సూచించారు. అభ్యర్థి యొక్క మెరిట్ మరియు కేటగిరీ ప్రకారం ఆన్లైన్ అప్లికేషన్లో ఇచ్చిన ప్రాధాన్యత ఆధారంగా క్యాంపస్ కేటాయించబడుతుంది. ఏ సందర్భంలో కూడ, మొత్తం అడ్మిషన్ ప్రక్రియ పూర్తయిన తర్వాత క్యాంపస్లల మధ్య అభ్యర్థుల అంతర్గత బదిలీ అనుమతించబడదు. విద్యార్థులు వారి ఎంపిక మరియు ప్రాధాన్యత ప్రకారం చివరకు ప్రవేశం పొందిన క్యాంపస్లో తప్పక చదువుకోవాలి. అభ్యర్థులు రెగ్యులర్ అ కోసం యూనివర్సిటీ వెబ్సైట్ www.rgukt.inని సందర్శించాలని సూచించారు.

ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ విధానం: ఎంపిక AP రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ నిబంధనల ప్రకారం రిజర్వేషన్ నియమావళిని అనుసరించి 10వ తరగతి మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా చేయబడుతుంది. మెరిట్ మరియు కటగిరీలో టై అయినట్లయితే, దిగువ పేర్కొన్న విధంగా వరుస క్రమంలో ఎంపిక చేయబడుతుంది

How to Apply AP RGUKT IIIT Notification 2023:

1. Candidates should apply online only through rgukt.in/AP online center/Meeseva. Application fee can be paid through online payment gateway or in cash at AP online centers for which the center will issue a receipt.
2. Application fee is Rs. 250/-. It is Rs.150/-for SC and ST candidates.
3. Soft copies of all relevant certificates should be uploaded while submitting the online application.
4. If any candidate applies more than once, information in the latest application will be considered for the selection process.
5. It is the responsibility of the candidate to enter his/her correct information/details in all respects. RGUKT is not responsible for any wrong entries in online application.

AP RGUKT IIIT Notification 2023 Eligibility for admission:

1. Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Governments of A.P. State & Telangana State/ CBSE/ICSE conducted in 2023 in First attempt. Students passed in advanced supplementary examinations conducted by SSC Board in 2023 will also be considered eligible for admission this year.
2. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
3. Candidates from other than AP and Telangana states are only eligible for Supernumerary seats.
4. International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Rule of Reservation:

a. Admission to 85% of total available seats shall be reserved for ‘local candidates’(Andhra Pradesh) and the remaining 15% of the seats are open to the students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act,

b. The rule of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and unreserved categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

SC – 15%, ST – 6%, BC-A – 7%, BC-B – 10%, BC-C – 1%, BC-D – 7%, BC-E – 4%, Physically Handicapped (PH) – 3%, Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) – 2%, NCC -1% and Sports – 0.5%.

c. A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of girl candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever girl candidates are available.

d. In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable. In case of CAP category G.O Ms. No. 59 Home (services IV) Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh dated 16-5-2018 will be considered. CAP reservation is applicable at AP state-level.

e. In case of Sports & Games category in respect of MS.NO.10 Dated: 15-7-2008 of Youth advancement Tourism & Culture (Sports) Department will be considered.

f. 10% supernumerary reservation to the Economically Weaker Sections as per the AP State Government Norms. Candidates should produce latest EWS certificate (note earlier than 2021) issued by the competent authority.

g. Any other reservation issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time shall be followed for admissions.

h. Since the courses offered are technical in nature and require appropriate physical fitness, RGUKT reserves the right of rejecting the application of such candidates who is declared by the experts as physically unfit to pursue the course.

i. Sample proformas (Annexures) to obtain relevant certificates for claiming reservations under various special categories are available in the University website rgukt.in

AP RGUKT IIIT 2023 Selection Method:

a. Admission to two years PUC and four years B.Tech Program (2023-24) will be based on marks obtained in SSC or equivalent examination conducted in 2022 and Guidelines issued by the Governing Council of RGUKT from time to time. In case of students studied in Government Schools, a deprivation score of 4% will be added to the marks of scored by the candidates in each subject in SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2023. In case of boards declare results in grades, an equivalency factor recommended by the Governing Council of RGUKT will be used to convert grades in to marks. The decision of RGUKT is final in this regard.

b. Details in latest application will be considered in case of multiple applications

c) In case of a tie in the marks, the following procedure will be followed to resolve the

i. Higher marks in Mathematics

ii. Higher marks in General Science

iii. Higher marks in English

iv. Higher marks in Social Studies

v. Higher marks in 1st Language

vi. Elder candidate as per the Date of Birth

vii. Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.

If the tie is resolved with any of the checks in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be considered.

d) The rules and guidelines issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh/Governing Council of RGUKT from time to time shall be followed for admissions.

e) Details filled by the candidates in online application will be considered for selection. RGUKT is not responsible for wrong entries.

f) If reservation under BC/SC/ST/EWS is not claimed by the candidate in the online application, he/she will be considered under Open Category for selection. RGUKT is not responsible for not claiming reservation and special categories in online application.

g) Campus will be allotted based on the merit in the SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2023 and rule of reservation. While filling the online application, candidates are advised to enter their preferred campus according to their priority. RGUKT is not responsible for any wrong entry as far as campus preference is concerned.

h) In no case, internal transfer of candidates is permitted. Students have to study in the campus where they are admitted.

Intimation to Selected Candidates:

1. The list of provisionally selected candidates for counseling will be displayed on the University website rgukt.in.
2. Candidates will also be informed through E-mail and SMS to the mobile numbers and email ids entered in the online application form. RGUKT is not responsible for not reaching the information by E-mail/SMS message due to wrong Email and mobile numbers entered in the online application form.
3. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check the University website rgukt.in frequently for his/her selection and relevant updates relating to admissions.

AP RGUKT IIIT Notification 2023 Certificate Verification and Admission:

The applicants should bring the following documents at the time of certificate verification and admission counseling. The proforma for the certificates mentioned below are given in Annexures.

Candidates should bring three photocopy sets of the following documents along with Original documents at the time of certificate verification and Admission Counselling.

1. SSC/Equivalent marks sheet issued by the respective board.
2. Proof of caste / community certificate (SC/ST/BC) in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under any of these categories.
3. Latest EWS certificate (not earlier to 2022) issued by the competent authority by those claiming reservation under EWS category
4. Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category.
5. Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category.
6. NCC certificate by those claiming reservation under this category.
7. Sports certificate(s) at the level of inter-state and above by those claiming reservation under this category.

NOTE:

1. If a candidate fails to submit any of the relevant certificates at the time of certificate verification, His/Her candidature will not be considered for admission.
2. Candidates selected provisionally for RGUKT should report in person for Certificate Verification and Admissions Counselling at RGUKT campuses for verification of original certificates / documents and the details as given in the application form.
3. Verification of certificates in respect of candidates belonging to the Special Categories like Physically Handicapped (PH), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), NCC and Sports will be conducted at RGUKT- Nuzvid campus on prescribed dates. Students should report in person for certificate verification of special categories on specified dates at RGUKT Nuzvid campus.
4. Mere calling for Certificate Verification of Special Category candidates does not guarantee any admission (It is only for verifying the special category certificates by the concerned Government Officers). Separate merit list will be prepared and displayed in the University website for special categories as per the recommendations of the concerned Government Departments/Officials.

Tuition Fee and Mess Charges:

1. The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana states is Rs.45,000/- per annum for PUC program and Rs 50,000/- per annum for B.Tech program.
2. Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement (Vidya Deevena) as per the guidelines issued by the Andhra Pradesh State Government will be exempted from tuition fee. (Total family annual income is below Rs.2.5 Lakh and who fulfill the other conditions as per the latest Govt.Rules are eligible for fee reimbursement)
3. All other students who are not eligible for tuition fee reimbursement should pay the full annual tuition fee to the University at the time of beginning of each academic Incase Government deposits the reimbursement of tuition fee to the student/mother account directly, candidates who get tuition fee reimbursement also need to pay the tuition fee to the University within one week from the date of receipt of reimbursement.
4. Students should pay monthly mess charges to the University (approximately 2500 to Rs.3000 per month). In case of students who receive Vasathi Deevena should also pay the balance amount in addition to Vasathi Deevena Amount.
5. Every student has to pay an admission fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates), Rs.1200/- towards group insurance(to be paid to the insurance agency by the University) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.1,000 (by all), and a hostel maintenance charges of Rs.1000/-(by all) that is a total of Rs.4,200/- (Rs 3,700/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.

Admission of students from other States and International Students:

1. Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available to students belonging to States other than Andhra Pradesh & Telangana including the children of Indians working in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students. Admission will be on the basis of merit in the 10^th class examination.
2. Tuition fee for students other than AP and Telangana states is Rs.1,50,000/- per
3. The tuition fee for International / NRI students is Rs.3, 00,000/- per annum.
4. Students should pay monthly mess charges to the University (approximately 2,500 to Rs.3,000 per month).

Note: University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student if it is found now or later that he/she secured admission by giving false information of any kind.

 Programs/Courses offered by RGUKT:

 The 6-Year program is divided in to the following two stages:

a) Pre-University Course (2 years): The following courses will be taught.

1. Mathematics
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
4. English
5. Telugu
6. Information Technology
7. Biology

b) B.Tech (4 years): Following Engineering branches are being offered at RGUKT campuses

1. Chemical Engineering (only at Nuzvid and R.K Valley)
2. Civil Engineering
3. Computer Science and Engineering
4. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
5. Electronics and Communications Engineering
6. Mechanical Engineering
7. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (only at Nuzvid and R.K Valley)

Important Note:

1. First two years of PUC batches of Ongole campus will be accommodated in prefabs at R.K Valley campus and few Engineering batches of Srikakulam campus will be accommodated at Nuzvid campus. RGUKT may change these internal arrangements as per the requirement from time to time.
2. Since RGUKT is completely a residential University, students who are seeking admission into RGUKT and their parents are advised to note that the attendance is compulsory and there will not be any provision for condonation except in a justifiable medical ground.
3. There is an exit option available to the students after two years PUC program. They can join elsewhere only after all the academic requirements are satisfied according to RGUKT guidelines. RGUKT follows a multidisciplinary approach. Therefore, elementary biology is compulsory in the PUC programme; pass in biology is necessary although grades in biology are not used either for branch allocation or to arrive at CGPA. Engineering Branches will be allotted based on the merit in the PUC following rule of reservation as per AP State Government
