Ordinary Elections to Gram Panchayats – Polling on 09.02.2021, 13.02.2021, 17.02.2021 and 21.02.2021 – Declaration of paid holiday on the day of poll to the employees

In the circumstances stated by the AP State Election  Commissioner, Vijayawada in the reference read above, the Government after careful consideration hereby authorise the Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada to declare a paid holiday on the day of poll i.e.,   09.02.2021,   13.02.2021,   17.02.2021   and   21.02.2021   to  the

employees and workers employed in shops and establishments situated in the areas where elections to the Gram Panchayats are being  conducted as per AP Shops and Establishments Act,1988.

2. The Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada shall  take necessary action accordingly.
