The application form is given in Annexure-I. Before applying for the eligible post, applicant shall read all the details in this Notification. Eligible candidates only should submit the duly filled in application form along with the copies of necessary certificates.
Candidates must apply in the application form devised by the Department at Annexure-I which can be downloading from this website: https://citizen.appolice.gov.in/ with free of cost from 05-10-2021 to 25-10- 2021. Application forms obtained from any other source will not be accepted.
Last date for receipt of Application: Eligible candidates should submit the application form (duly filled in) along with the copies of the necessary certificates by registered post only through Indian Postal Service on working days only. Applicants shall attach a reply Postal cover with full self address and Postal stamps to receive their Hall Tickets. The
Applications are not allowed to be sent physically or through their nominees in any manner.
Last date for the Application form is 25-10-2021 and it will be reached to AAO, o/0 DIG Technical Services, AP Police Tech Towers, AP Police Hqrs., Mangalgiri, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh-522503 on or before 17:00 hrs.
Applications reached after 17:00 hrs on 25-10-2021 will not be accepted. Incomplete applications or applications without prescribed enclosures also will not be entertained.
The applicant is required to follow the instructions of AP Police Hqrs., regularly to keep herself/himself updated until completion of the selection process. The official information from the AP Police Hqrs., is final for all correspondence.
Candidates to ensure their eligibility for the Post: Candidates applying for the post should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examinations. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Mere issue of Hall Ticket to the Candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Department.
Hall Tickets will be sent to the Eligible Candidates through the reply cover attached by the Applicant at the Application sent time. Eligible Candidates will be receiving the Hall Ticket through the fully self addressed and postal stamp reply cover only.
All the desirous and eligible candidates shall apply through Indian Postal Order after satisfying themselves that they are eligible as per the terms and conditions of this recruitment notification. Any application sent through other than the prescribed Indian Postal Order mode will not be entertained under any circumstances. Submission of application form by the candidate is taken as authentication that he/ she has read the notification and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down there under.
PARA-2: ELIGIBILITY
- He/she is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect or infirmity rendering him/her unfit for such
- His/her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him/her for service.
- He/she possesses the academic and other qualifications prescribed for the
- He/she is a citizen of India and resident of Andhra Pradesh
Provided that no candidate other than a citizen of India may be appointed except with the previous sanction of the State Government and except in accordance with such conditions and restrictions as they may be laid down. Such sanction shall not be accorded unless the State Government are satisfied that sufficient number of citizens of India, who are qualified and suitable are not available.

A candidate shall possess the academic qualifications and experience including practical experience prescribed, for the post on the date of the notification.

PARA- 6: AGE:
No person shall be eligible for recruitment if she/he is less than 18 years of age and if she is more than 42 years of age as on 01.07.2021. Candidates should not be born earlier to 01.07.1979 and not later than 01.07.2003.

HOW TO APPLY: Duly filled in applications should be posted well in advance to avoid the postal delay. Only registered/speed posts are allowed. Postal delays will not be entertained. The postal cover for Hall ticket should be sent with sufficient postage along with the duly filled in Application form.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION: –
The Scheme & Syllabus for the examination has been shown in
Annexure-III.
PARA – 9: CENTRE FOR EXAMINATION AND ORAL INTERACTION:
- All the candidates are requested to submit their application with correct data.
- The particulars furnished by the applicant in the application form will be taken as final. Candidates should, therefore, be very careful in filling/ submitting the application
- Incomplete/incorrect application form will be summarily rejected. The information if any furnished by the candidate subsequently will not be entertained by the Department under any circumstances. Applicants should be careful in filling-up the application form. If any lapse is detected during the scrutiny, the candidature will be rejected even though she comes to the final stage of recruitment process or even at a later stage and also liable for
- Before submission of application form, the candidates should carefully ensure their eligibility for this examination. No relevant column of the application form should be left blank; otherwise, application form will not be
- The eligible candidate he/she can attend to the examination center at Tech Towers, AP Police Headquarters, Mangalagiri. As per administrative convenience, the examination, Oral Interaction date & time will be intimated to the eligible Candidates through Message/mail.
PARA – 10: RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES RELATED TO QUESTION PAPER, ANSWER KEY AND OTHER MATTERS
Any objections with regard to the question paper and any other matter shall be filed within 24 hours after completion of the written exam and send to this mail ([email protected])
Any objection filed after expiry of specified time from after completion of the written exam would not be entertained.
Any objections with regard to the Question paper, key and any other matter will be referred to Committee members for opinion and to take appropriate decision thereon by the Department and it will be final.
In the event of any question found improper by the committee, it will be reckoned for adding marks for all the candidates.
PARA-11: PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts shall be based on the merit in the computer-based examination and Oral Interaction to be held as per the scheme of examination.
Appearance in the computer-based examination / Oral Interaction is compulsory. Absence in any of the examination / Oral Interaction will automatically render disqualification of the candidature.
The candidates who obtain maximum marks in Written Examination shall be admitted to the Oral Interaction.
The minimum qualifying marks for consideration of a candidate to the selection process are 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, STs as per rules.
In the event of Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribe candidates not coming up for selection with the existing minimum prescribed for selection in the written examination conducted by the Department their selection shall be considered on the basis of rank with reference to their performance in the written examination and Oral Interaction irrespective of the marks secured.
N.B.: Mere securing of minimum qualifying marks does not confer any right to the candidate for being considered to the selection.
Where the candidates get equal number of marks in the test if two or more candidates get equal total number of marks, those candidates shall be bracketed. Candidates within the same bracket shall then be ranked 1, 2, 3 etc., according to age i.e., oldest being considered for admission. In case there is tie in age, the person who possesses educational qualification at earlier date would be considered.
With regard to situation where there is deletion of questions, if any, from question paper, scaling (proportionate increase) would be done for that particular part of the paper to the maximum marks prescribed for the paper and the marks would be rounded off to 2 decimals to determine the merit of the candidate.
The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical classification, and if he/she is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect or infirmity.
PARA- 12: WRITTEN EXAMINATION & ORAL INTERACTION MARKS:
Marks of each candidate scored in written examination and Oral Interaction will be provided as per the candidate request. No separate memorandum of marks would be issued.
