National Award to Teachers 2020 Guidelines, Procedure, Criteria and Online Application*
Conditions of Eligibility of Teachers
i) School teachers and Heads of Schools working in recognized primary/middle/high/higher secondary schools under the following categories:
a) Schools run by State Govt./UTs Administration, schools run by local bodies, schools aided by State Govt. and UT Administration.
b) Central Govt. Schools i.e. Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs), Sainik Schools run by Ministry of Defence (MoD), Schools run by Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) run by Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
c) Schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) (other than those at (a) and (b) above)
d) Schools affiliated to Council for Indian Schools Certificate Examination (CISCE) (Other than those at (a), (b) and (c) above)
ii) Normally retired teachers are not eligible for the award but those teachers who have served a part of the calendar year (at least for four months i.e. upto 30th April in the year to which National Awards relate) may be considered if they fulfill all other conditions.
iii) Educational Administrators, Inspectors of Education, and the staff of training Institutes are not eligible for these awards.
iv) Teacher/Headmaster should not have indulged in tuitions.
v) Only regular Teachers and Heads of Schools will be eligible.
vi) Contractual Teachers and Shiksha Mitras will not be eligible.
ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయ అవార్డులు*
▪️ అన్ని యాజమాన్యాల పాఠశాలల ఉపాధ్యాయుల నుంచి 2019 సంవత్సరానికిగాను జాతీయస్థాయి ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయ అవార్డుల నిమిత్తం దరఖాస్తులకు ప్రకటన.
▪️ జులై 6వ తేదీలోగా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.
▪️జిల్లా ఎంపిక కమిటీ నామినేషన్స్‌ నుంచి రాష్ట్రస్థాయి ఎంపిక కమిటీకి జులై 21వ తేదీలోగా పంపిస్తారు.
▪️రాష్ట్ర ఎంపిక కమిటీ షార్ట్‌ లిస్టు చేసిన దరఖాస్తులను ఆన్లైన్ పోర్టల్‌ నుంచి ఇండిపెండెంట్‌ నేషనల్‌ జ్యూరీకి జులై 22 నుంచి జులై 31లోగా పంపిస్తారు.
▪️ ఎంహెచ్‌ఆర్‌డీ షార్ట్‌ లిస్ట్‌ చేసే ఉపాధ్యాయుల వివరాలను జులై 25న వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో పొందుపరుస్తారు.
▪️ జాతీయస్థాయి ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయ అవార్డులకు ఎంపికైన ఉపాధ్యాయుల వివరాలను ఆగస్టు 14న వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో పెడతారు.

▪️విద్యా ప్రమాణాల పెంపుతో పాటు విద్యార్థుల అభివృద్ధికి కృషి చేసినవారికి ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తారు.
▪️ ప్రాథమిక, ప్రాథమికోన్నత, ఉన్నత పాఠశాలల్లో పనిచేసే ఉపాధ్యాయులు, ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకునేందుకు అర్హులు.
▪️ విశ్రాంత ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఇందుకు అనర్హులు.
▪️ ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయులకు ఆయా కేటగిరీల్లో సాధించిన మార్కుల ఆధారంగా ఎంపిక.

Shortlisting of teachers by District/Regional Selection Committee and forwarding the shortlist to the State/Organization Selection Committee through online portal. 22 July to 31 July 2020:
State Selection Committee/ Organization Selection Committee shortlist to be forwarded to Independent National Jury through online portal
3 August 2020:
Intimation to all the shortlisted candidates for selection by Jury through VC or physical interaction as may be decided. 6 August to 14 August 2020:

Procedure for application and selection:
i)All the applications would be received through an online web portal.
ii) MHRD would ensure coordination with States/UTs regarding timely entry into the portal and resolution of technical and operational issues during data entry into portal through the portal development agency.
iii) MHRD will bear the entire expenditure for development and maintenance of the portal.
iv)In case of State/UTs, teachers and heads of schools themselves shall apply directly by filling the application form online through the web portal before the prescribed cut-off date.
v)Every applicant shall submit a portfolio, online along with the Entry Form. The portfolio shall include relevant supporting material such as documents, tools, reports of activities, field visits, photographs, audios or videos etc.
vi)Undertaking by the applicant: Each applicant shall give an undertaking that all the information/data submitted is true to the best of his/her knowledge and if anything is found at any later date to be untrue then he/she will be liable to disciplinary action
