SUMMER BREAK ACTIVITIES – GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

• Class teachers have to create Whats app groups with their class students.
• Ask them to maintain a notebook for summer activities and submit at the time of reopening.
• Keep in touch with the students and encourage them from time to time to monitor their activities.
• Gather students activities in the form of pics/videos/reports through Whats app group

• Music, Dance and Drama :

Select a music/dance/drama of their own culture or local tradition where a group of people (Peer/siblings/other family members) come together to develop the child’s aesthetic sense. Example: Folk or traditional songs/dance can be recorded from their area using some musical instruments involving their siblings, friends and family members.

ACTIVITY 1: – Collect story pictures from newspapers/old books and display it in your living room (వార్తాపత్రికలు/పాత పుస్తకాల నుండి కథా చిత్రాలను సేకరించి మీ గదిలో ప్రదర్శించండి).

WE LOVE READING SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2024 :: TODAY MORAL STORY : దొంగ – గుర్రం / Lazy Horse story

బ్రహ్మపురి అనే గ్రామంలో సీతయ్య అనే రైతు ఉండేవాడు అతని వద్ద ఒక గుర్రం ఉండేది. దానిని సీతయ్య మంచిగా చూసుకునే వాడు మంచి ఆహారం పెట్టే వాడు.

దానితో పొలం పనులు చేయించేవాడు దానికి ఆ పనులు చేయడం నచ్చలేదు. మా పూర్వీకులు రాజుల సంరక్షణలో ఉండేవారు ఎన్నో యుద్ధాలలో పాల్గొన్నారు, సకల సౌకర్యాలు సకల సౌకర్యాలు. నేను మాత్రం బానిస లాగా బతకాల్సి వస్తోంది.

ఎలాగైనా ఇక్కడి నుండి వెళ్ళిపోవాలనుకుంది ఒకరోజు రాత్రి దొంగ సీతయ్య ఇంటికి దొంగతనానికి వచ్చాడు. ఆ సమయంలో అతడు గాఢ నిద్ర లో ఉన్నాడు దొంగ మాత్రమే చేతికందిన వస్తువులన్నీ మూట కట్టుకున్నాడు.

జరుగుతున్నదంతా గుర్రం చూస్తున్నది. యజమాని మాత్రం అప్రమత్తం చేయలేదు. తన పని ముగించుకుని వెళుతున్న దొంగను, “అయ్యా! అదే చేత్తో నా కట్లు విప్పండి” అన్ని బతిమిలాడింది గుర్రం.

నీ కట్లు విప్పితే నాకేంటి లాభం అన్నాడు దొంగ అప్పుడు గుర్రం ఏమీ ఆలోచించకుండా కావాలంటే నీతో వస్తాను అంది. నీకు బానిసగా ఉంటాను అని బతిమిలాడింది.

దానికి దొంగ నవ్వుతూ “నేను దొంగను, దొంగతనం చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిసికూడా యజమానిని లేపలేదు. నిన్ను పోషిస్తున్న యజమాని పట్ల నీకు కృతజ్ఞత లేదు. నీ లాంటి దాన్ని వెంట ఉంచుకోవడం తప్పు”.

“యజమాని పైన విశ్వాసం లేని వారు ఇప్పటికైనా ముంపు” అన్నాడు దొంగ.

వెంటనే గుర్రం ఆలోచించి దొంగ కు ఉన్న తెలివి నాకు లేకపోయింది. అనుకుని యజమాని పట్ల విశ్వాసంతో ఆనాటినుండి అన్ని పనులు చెయ్యసాగింది.

నీతి:

నమ్మకము విశ్వాసము మనలను కాపాడును

WE LOVE READING SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2024- TODAY ENGLISH MORAL STORY : The Lion and the Mouse

A lion was once sleeping in the jungle when a mouse started running up and down his body just for fun. This disturbed the lion’s sleep, and he woke up quite angry. He was about to eat the mouse when the mouse desperately requested the lion to set him free. “I promise you, I will be of great help to you someday if you save me.” The lion laughed at the mouse’s confidence and let him go.

One day, a few hunters came into the forest and took the lion with them. They tied him up against a tree. The lion was struggling to get out and started to whimper. Soon, the mouse walked past and noticed the lion in trouble. Quickly, he ran and gnawed on the ropes to set the lion free. Both of them sped off into the jungle.

Moral of the Story

A small act of kindness can go a long way.

WE LOVE READING SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2024- : ఎందుకు? ఎలా ? ఏమిటి? :: వేసవిలో వేడి గా ఎందుకు ఉంటుంది?

వేసవిలో వేడి గా ఎందుకు ఉంటుంది?

భూమి సూర్యుని చుట్టూ తిరిగే దారి దీర్ఘ వృత్తాకారం (elliptical) లో ఉండడంచేత సూర్యుల మధ్య దూరం స్థిరంగా ఉండక మారుతూ ఉంటుంది. జనవరి ఆరంభంలో భూమి సూర్యునికి అత్యంత సమీపంగా ను, జులై ఆరంభంలో అత్యంత దూరంగా ను ఉంటుంది. ఈ రెండింటికీ మధ్య 30 లక్షల మైళ్ల భేదం ఉంటుంది. భూమి సూర్యుడికి దగ్గరగా ఉన్నప్పుడు మనకి నడి వేసవి కాలము సూర్యుడికి బహు దూరంగా ఉన్నప్పుడు మనకి శీతాకాలము అయి ఉండడం గమనించారు.

వివిధ రుతువులలో వాతావరణం వేరు వేరు గా ఉండటానికి అసలు కారణం సూర్యకిరణాలు నేల మీద పడే వాలు మారుతూ ఉండడం. కానీ భూ సూర్యుల మధ్య దూరం లో మార్పు రావడం కానేకాదు. సూర్యకిరణాలు నిట్టనిలువుగా పడితే ఎక్కువ వేడిగాను, ఏటవాలుగా పడితే తక్కువ వేడిగాను ఉంటుంది. దీనికి కారణాలు టార్చిలైట్ నిట్టనిలువుగా గోడ మీద వేస్తే ఎక్కువ వెలుగు, ఏటవాలుగా పడేటట్లు వేస్తే అదే వెలుగు ఎక్కువ ప్రదేశంలో సర్దుకోవటం చేత వెలుగు తక్కువగాను కనిపించడం సహజమే కదా? అలాగే వాలుగా పడిన సూర్యరశ్మి ఎక్కువ ప్రదేశంలో సర్దుకోవటం చేత – మంది ఎక్కువైతే మజ్జిగ పలచబడినట్టు- వేడి తగ్గుతుంది ఒక్క కారణం.

సూర్య కిరణాలు ఏటవాలుగా పడినప్పుడు భూ వాతావరణంలో ఎక్కువ దూరం ప్రయాణం చేసి రావటం చేత తేజ శక్తి గాలిలో చెల్లాచెదురై భూమి మీద పడేది తగ్గిపోతుంది.

భద్రతా చిట్కాలు:

• మీరు కొత్తగా స్థలాలు సందర్శించినప్పుడల్లా మీ తల్లిదండ్రులు/పెద్దలతో పాటు వెళ్లండి
• ఎక్కువ నీరు త్రాగడం, పత్తి బట్టలు ధరించడం వంటి సరైన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోండి , జంక్ ఫుడ్, శీతల పానీయాలు మొదలైన వాటికి దూరంగా ఉండాలి.
• సమాచారాన్ని సేకరించడానికి ఇంటర్నెట్ ఉపయోగించేటప్పుడు మీరు మీ తల్లిదండ్రుల అనుమతిని పొందాలి.
• ముఖ్యంగా పీక్ అవర్స్‌లో వేడి ఎండలో బయటకు వెళ్లడం మానుకోండి.
• తేలికైన భోజనం మరియు నీరు వంటి నీటి శాతం అధికంగా ఉండే పండ్లను తినండి . పుచ్చకాయలు, దోసకాయలు, సిట్రస్ పండ్లు మొదలైనవి.
• తరచుగా విరామాలలో తగినంత నీరు త్రాగండి మరియు ప్రయాణంలో నీరు త్రాగడానికి తీసుకువెళ్లండి
• తల్లిదండ్రులు పిల్లలను ఒంటరిగా బైక్‌లు లేదా మోటారు వాహనాలు నడపడానికి అనుమతించకూడదు
• జంతువులను నీడలో ఉంచండి మరియు వాటికి తగినంత నీరు ఇవ్వండి, త్రాగండి. వేసవి దృష్ట్యా సరైన ఆరోగ్య చిట్కాలు/నియమాలను పాటించండి
•ట్యాంకులు, బావులు మరియు ఇతర నీటి వనరుల దగ్గరకు పిల్లలతో పాటు తల్లిదండ్రులు లేదా పెద్దలు ఉండాలి
• అగ్ని మరియు విద్యుత్ నుండి దూరంగా ఉండండి.
• ఉరుములు లేదా మెరుపులతో కూడిన వర్షం పడుతున్నప్పుడు ఇంట్లోనే ఉండండి.
• సోషల్ మీడియా వెబ్‌సైట్‌లు మరియు యాప్‌లను ఉపయోగిస్తున్నప్పుడు వారితో చాట్ చేయవద్దు, తెలియని వ్యక్తులు కాల్స్ ఏవైనా వస్తే, తల్లిదండ్రులు లేదా పెద్దలుకు తెలియజేయండి
