RGUKT is inviting applications from eligible candidates for teaching faculty on contract basis in the prescribed format for the AY 2019-20.
1. Name of the Department:
a). Engineering departments: Civil Engg, Computer Sciences Engg, Chemical
Engg, Electronics and Communication Engg, Mechanical Engg, Metallurgical and Materials Engg.
b). Science Departments: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
c). Humanities and Social Sciences Departments: English, Fine Arts, Yoga,Psychology and Library Science.

2. Period of Contract:
These Faculty positions are purely temporary and carry consolidated salary without any
allowances. The initial term of appointment will be for a period of one academic year (up
to 10th May 2020) and may be extendable for a further period subject to satisfactory
performance through an interview and requirement as per University norms.

4. Minimum Qualifications

Department - Minimum Qualifications required
1 Engineering
M.E/ M.Tech in relevant discipline with first class (or an
equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is
followed) from recognized Universities. Candidates with Ph.D.
are preferred.
2 Mathematics
55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Master’s Level with NET/SLET in the respective discipline from recognized Universities. The Candidates with Ph.D are preferred.
3 Physics
4 Chemistry
5 English
6 Fine Arts
7 Yoga
8 Psychology
9 Library Science
Note:

A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribe/ Differentially-abled (Physically and visually differently –abled) candidates.
5. Candidates may also have to appear a Screening/written test as per requirement.
The examination pattern, syllabus, mode of examination and the examination schedule
will be updated in the University website i.e www.rgukt.in. Applicants are advised to
check the University website for updates and for further information.
6. The emoluments and designations shall be according to Andhra Pradesh State
Government norms. Rule of reservation will be followed as per State Government
norms.
