SUMMER BREAK ACTIVITIES – GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

• Class teachers have to create Whats app groups with their class students.
• Ask them to maintain a notebook for summer activities and submit at the time of reopening.
• Keep in touch with the students and encourage them from time to time to monitor their activities.
• Gather students activities in the form of pics/videos/reports through Whats app group

• Music, Dance and Drama :

Select a music/dance/drama of their own culture or local tradition where a group of people (Peer/siblings/other family members) come together to develop the child’s aesthetic sense. Example: Folk or traditional songs/dance can be recorded from their area using some musical instruments involving their siblings, friends and family members.

Crow and Sparrow Story/ కాకి గర్వం:

అనగనగా ఒక చిట్టడవి లో కాకి ఒకటి ఉండేది అది తనంత ఎత్తులో ఎవరు ఎగరలేరుని మిడిసి పడుతుండేది.

ఓ రోజు కాకి ఏమి ఉబుసు పోక అటువైపుగా ఎగురుతూ వెళ్తున్నా పిచ్చుక ని ఆపి నీకు కనీసం అందంగా ఎగరడం కూడా వచ్చినట్టు లేదు ఏదో పురుగు గెంటినట్టే ఉంది. అని వేళాకోళ మాడింది.

ఆ మాటలకి పిచ్చుకకి కోపం వచ్చి నేను నీ లాగే ఎగరాలి సీనా అవసరం లేదు. ఎవరి సామర్థ్యం వాళ్లది అన్నది అయితే.

నాతో పందెం కాసి మీ సామర్థ్యం తో ‘నన్ను ఓడించు చూద్దాం’! అంది కాకి. దానికి పిచ్చుక ఒప్పుకుంది. అక్కడున్న అక్కడున్న న్యాయనిర్ణేతగా ఉంటా మన్నాయి.

ఇప్పుడు మనం ఉన్న మద్ది చెట్టు తో ఉన్న మద్ది చెట్టు తో మధ్యలో ఉన్న రావి చెట్టు, ఆ తర్వాత వచ్చే జడల మర్రిచెట్టు ను దాటుకుని మళ్లీ ఇక్కడికి రావాలి. ముందుకొచ్చే వాళ్లే విజేత. అని ప్రకటించాయి.

పందెం మొదలైందో లేదో కాకి సరున రావి చెట్టును దాటి మర్రి చెట్టు లోకి దూసుకెళ్లింది ఆ మర్రి చాలా పెద్దది లెక్కలేనన్ని ఊడలతొ దట్టంగా ఉంది. దాంతో రెక్కలు రెండు, సన్నటి ఊడల మధ్య చిక్కుకుపోయాయి అది బాధతో అల్లాడి పోయింది.

పిచ్చుక సన్నగా చిన్నగా ఉండటం వలన కొమ్మల్లో కి దూరి ఆకుల మధ్య ఖాళీ చేసుకుంటూ బయటకొచ్చి గమ్యస్థానానికి చేరుకుని విజేతగా నిలిచింది.

పిచ్చుక కోరికమేరకు వడ్రంగి పిట్ట ఒకటి వచ్చి ఊడలని మెల్లగా తొలిచి వాటిలో చిక్కుకున్న కాకిని కాపాడింది. దాంతో ప్రకృతిలో ఎవరు ఎక్కువ ఎవరు తక్కువ కాదని తెలుసుకున్న కాకి ఇంకెప్పుడూ గర్భ పడలేదు. ఎవడిని ఇబ్బంది పెట్టలేదు.

The Tortoise and The Hare

A long, long time ago, there lived a hare in the forest who always boasted of his running speed. He would often tease the tortoise for being the slowest animal around. One fine day, he dared the tortoise to a race in order to exhibit his skills in front of other animals in the forest. Fed up with the hare’s bragging, the tortoise finally accepted the challenge and decided to compete him in a race.

On the day of the race, all the animals of the forest gathered to watch the competition between the hare and the tortoise. Just as they were about to begin the race, the hare mocked the tortoise for accepting the challenge. Further, he also mentioned that soon after he wins the race, the tortoise would be ridiculed by other animals for accepting the dare. The tortoise kept silent and didn’t pay heed to the hare’s words.

The race began at the count of one, two and three! The hare immediately started running and the tortoise started at its usual slow pace. Soon the hare reached a long way ahead almost a few yards from the finish line. He looked back to check if the tortoise was anywhere nearby. However, the tortoise was left far behind and almost could not be seen.

The hare decided to pause and take some rest on the way before he completed the race. He looked around and to his left, he noticed a field of cabbages and carrots. He decided to snack on cabbage and take a short nap so that he would quickly run past the finish line in a fresh mood.

Soon the hare fell into a deep sleep and dreamt of winning the competition. Time passed and the sun was already setting when he suddenly woke up. He quickly jumped to check if the tortoise was around. To his dismay, the tortoise was just a few steps away from the finish line.

Seeing the tortoise close to the finish line, the hare rushed towards it as fast as he could. However, it was too late and the tortoise finally crossed the finish line, thereby winning the competition.

When the hare reached the point where the race ended, all the animals were laughing at him for losing the race to the tortoise. That day, he learnt a lesson that bragging about something doesn’t win you accolades, hence you should never mock others for their own pace.

Moral of the Story: Slow and steady wins the race!

జ : శరీరమంటేనే కణాల సముదాయము .ఇందులో ప్రతి కణానికీ మరణము ఉంటుంది. ఒక్కొక్క రకము కణానిది ఒక రకమైన ఆయుర్ధాయము . మనకు తెలియకుండానే మన శరీరములో కణాలు మరణించడము , వాటి స్ధానము లో కొత్త కణాలు పుట్టుకురావడము జరుగుతుంటుంది .పేగు పైపొర కణాలు ప్రతి 5 రోజులకు పాత వాటిస్థానములో కొత్తవి వస్తుంటాయి. తెల్ల రక్తకణాలు 2 నుండి 4 సం.లు, ఎర్ర రక్త కణాలు 90-120 రోజులు లలో మృతిచెందుతాయి.,మీన చర్మము మీద ఉన్న కణాలు ప్రతి 15 నుండి 20 రోజులకొకసారి కొత్తవి వస్తుంటాయి.

భద్రతా చిట్కాలు:

• మీరు కొత్తగా స్థలాలు సందర్శించినప్పుడల్లా మీ తల్లిదండ్రులు/పెద్దలతో పాటు వెళ్లండి
• ఎక్కువ నీరు త్రాగడం, పత్తి బట్టలు ధరించడం వంటి సరైన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోండి , జంక్ ఫుడ్, శీతల పానీయాలు మొదలైన వాటికి దూరంగా ఉండాలి.
• సమాచారాన్ని సేకరించడానికి ఇంటర్నెట్ ఉపయోగించేటప్పుడు మీరు మీ తల్లిదండ్రుల అనుమతిని పొందాలి.
• ముఖ్యంగా పీక్ అవర్స్‌లో వేడి ఎండలో బయటకు వెళ్లడం మానుకోండి.
• తేలికైన భోజనం మరియు నీరు వంటి నీటి శాతం అధికంగా ఉండే పండ్లను తినండి . పుచ్చకాయలు, దోసకాయలు, సిట్రస్ పండ్లు మొదలైనవి.
• తరచుగా విరామాలలో తగినంత నీరు త్రాగండి మరియు ప్రయాణంలో నీరు త్రాగడానికి తీసుకువెళ్లండి
• తల్లిదండ్రులు పిల్లలను ఒంటరిగా బైక్‌లు లేదా మోటారు వాహనాలు నడపడానికి అనుమతించకూడదు
• జంతువులను నీడలో ఉంచండి మరియు వాటికి తగినంత నీరు ఇవ్వండి, త్రాగండి. వేసవి దృష్ట్యా సరైన ఆరోగ్య చిట్కాలు/నియమాలను పాటించండి
